Aiolos smiled at Perseus. His shop, with ‘Seus’ help, was coming along quite well. His ears flicked as ajalkins from all around gathered. There were many shops getting set up here. This was a main street. It was always busy and as such it was a perfect place to set up a shop to give others items they may need during this season.

Aiolos had brought many of the books he’s made. The books had information they’ve gathered from the many cultures of the world. They turned to Perseus.

“Seus do you happen to see where my yellow yarn went?”

Perseus hmm’d as he searched, “I don’t see it Aiolos. What did you pack it with?”

“I thought that it was with those gold charms you made?”

The two stumbled over each other as they searched for the missing yarn. A few ajalkin paused to watch the commotion that the two were making in the small shop, but continued on their merry way.

“AH HA! I found you little sucker!”

Aiolos grinned at Perseus, who could only shake his head with laughter. Aiolos lifted the small ball of simmering yellow yarn up in victory. His mane somehow got tangled in the yarn. The larged winged ajalkin laughed. His muzzle bending to the will of the laugh. Perseus couldn’t help the giggles that escaped his mouth as well. Aiolos’ laughter was contagious after all.

“Good job there Aiolos,” Perseus inched towards his friend. His eyes gazing upon the small creation that Aiolos was slowly making.

Aiolos shook his head at the other ajalkin, “Thanks old friend!” The multiple winged ajalkin pulled the yarn out of his mane. He turned to the right where all different types of yarn sat. They put the yellow yarn up. They gazed upon all the colors they had available. Hmm. Aiolos grabbed a pine green yarn.

“Hey ‘Seus,” they turned to Perseus, “Do you think these colors look nice together?”

Aiolos lifted a small knitted blanket. The blanket was mostly the same yellow yarn from before, but there was a light blue knitted in between a few rows. The blue yarn had a shimmering effect on them. Every year Aiolos tried to knit as many blankets as he could. They gave the blankets to the spirits who never got the chance to breathe long after birth. They would wrap the small spirits to warm them up and help lead them to guards and others who could help protect them. Oftentimes the small spirits didn’t know how to move on, even with the help of seasoned ajalkins.

“Perhaps a lighter green to match closer to the yellow.”

Aiolos nodded and grabbed a lighter shade of green. He moved forward at the entrance of the small shop and began to finish knitting the small blanket. His ears flicked as a few ajalkins stopped by the shop. The ajalkins mostly bought supplies from Perseus, but a few stopped to ask about the blankets. Aiolos took the time to explain to each ajalkin that wished to learn about why and how the blankets were important.
