"C'mon, lets go! Before anyone else gets here too!"

Roman fidgeted as Sigil and Azo stared at him, and he wished again that he'd picked one of the graham cracker outfits for their s'more costume so that he didn't have to be front and center. He reached up to adjust his marshmallow hat, centering it on his skull again as he glanced over his shoulder. Dozens of other kids were slowly making their way down the street, stopping to gawk at the decorations and knock on doors for free candy. His mom was nearby supervising, and he accidentally caught her eye. She gave him a smile and a thumbsup, and he returned the smile with a small one of his own before turning back to the door that loomed in front of them.

"Okay, here goes..." Roman took a few steps forward, gingerly pressing the doorbell.

"Um... trick or treat..!"
