Scene Sunday #46

S returns home late from his mysterious friend's computer to find Blue waiting for him.
"Alright, I'll see you later then. Sleep well when you do, kiddo."
S watched as the faint impression of a human on the other side of the screen waved, then felt a familiar tug on his soul as the world spun around him and he found himself standing in the hallway at home. It was already late, but two nightlights lit the floor enough for him to see. He sighed, leaning against the wall for just a moment until he was certain he had his balance.
A shuffling noise made him look up, and he smiled as Blue Jeans rounded the corner, eyes lighting up at seeing him home.
"You're back!" Blue closed the distance between them swiftly, pulling S into a hug and leaning in to gently touch their skulls together. S leaned into it, wrapping his arms around his husband.
"Yep, sorry I'm late."
"Is everything alright?" Blue pulled away slightly, looking down at him curiously. "It is not like them to keep you so long..."
"Eh, well..." S scratched the back of his skull, thinking back to the events of the day. "They were upset about something, though I'm not sure exactly what. I think they were feeling better before I left, though. Maybe they just needed a friend to hang out with them for a while."
Blue smiled. "I'm glad to hear they are feeling better." He looked more closely at S, a little worry showing on his features. "Are you alright, though? You look tired."
S sighed, laying his head against Blue's ribcage. "I am tired. And my leg's a bit stiff, I've been standing on it all day. But I'll be fine after I sleep."
Blue hummed thoughtfully. "Still, you should probably let Barcode have a look at it. It will heal better that way. Are you hungry? There is plenty left over from dinner that we could reheat."
"Nah, it's alright. The kid gave me some food while I was there, I'll be fine until morning. Thank you though."
"Well then," Blue scooped S up into his arms, "It is time both of us got some sleep. And I am making you sleep in for once."
S chuckled, resting against Blue and putting up no resistance. "Well, when you put it that way..."
