"I did indeed tell the stars about you."

A tall slender figure stood in the middle of the forest clearing, the branches dancing above him as the chilly wind brushed against his fair skin. His olive locks following the trees' movement but in a less harmonized way. Strands of hair continuously stroked his cheeks and he would have moved a hand to clear them from his view at least--he, however, stood solemnly--seemingly paying no mind to the absolute mess the weather caused at his appearance.

The god only let out a light chuckle; it was laced with pain.

"It seems like a big storm is coming, my love," the god of time uttered.

But only the rustling of the trees answered back.

His brown eyes fixed onto a disorder of ivy that covered the bark of a large tree in front of him, tall growth around its base swayed with the growing winds. The god of time walked up to it, gently pushing away the plants that hung from the tree like a curtain; revealing a cavity large enough for him to peer and reach into. Despite the size of it and the hollowness, the tree was very much still alive--the only thing that wasn't was what the god's eyes laid upon inside. Yet its delicate appearance tried proving otherwise--of course, the god very much knew it so.

Crouching down, he began to reach into the hollow tree. The immortal slipped off his white glove from his right hand before touching what the tree held inside, unknowingly holding his breath as his ungloved hand came into contact with its soft surface. "You haven't aged a day Everett dearest," Tally said, his voice brittle as his chest ached. A lump in his throat caught, causing him to bite his bottom lip. Keeping his composure, he stood up as he brought the plant growth back to its original position.

The god walked back, whipping out his black cane seemingly out of nowhere and only looking back to the tree one last time before a familiar pale face appeared out from behind a tree a few feet away from him.

"Tally, I believe Anoshiako and Arkiyonus are looking for you-", the pale one started, cutting himself short as his sharp pale blue eyes caught the god of time staring back at the giant tree. Examining his empty brown stare, it continued to lock onto the overgrowth that clung to the bark. His stare stayed empty as the silence between the two gods grew, it was an empty one, yet it seemed to see something else there that wasn't. Perhaps the olive-haired one was enveloped deep in his own thoughts, he stayed silent--resting one gloved hand on his cane while the ungloved one was curled, almost into a fist, against his lips.

The black-haired god sighed. "Again?"

Tally only nodded and dismissed the other god with a wave.

Another sigh.

"I'll let them know you're arriving later than anticipated," the god of healing responded to the gesture, making his way out of the clearing but not long before stopping. He had something else to say and he almost fought against the idea, but the thought of leaving without saying anything else tugged at his chest.

He whipped his head back to face the god of time.

"I'm sorry I couldn't do anything Tally."

The god of time stayed silent.

As expected.

With that, the god of healing continued towards his path to exit the woods--leaving Tally alone once again.

The lone god remained standing, eventually letting out a heavy sigh. He finally shifted his brown gaze away from the tree, his face turning cold and solemn. He made his way out of the forest clearing as he slipped his white glove back on.

"It was pathetic."
