Description of Family

Fancy is Sundew's great-aunt, and was quite the hero in the Tree Wars. She had incredibly powerful leaf-speak, and in her efforts to stop the HiveWing invasion helped to create the giant variants of the Poison Jungle carnivorous plants that guard the forest. She was killed attempting to assassinate Queen Wasp, but her powerful leaf-speak lives on in a less potent form in her sister, Rosary, who died of war wound complications a few years before Sundew's birth. (You will notice a lot of death on this tree, this is to fit in with canon lore and make this a plausible family lineage). In an effort to concentrate the leaf-speak lineage, Rosary married a dragon named Sumac, who, although not gifted with leaf-speak himself, came from the union of two dragons with the power. Their first son, Yew, was born with congenital disabilities similar to Chameleon, and unfortunately was constantly sick until he died at a few months old. It was suggested that perhaps the effort to achieve leaf-speak powers in had caused the issues, but LeafWings consider the theory taboo. Sumac died of a broken heart, but not before Rosary had conceived Belladonna. Belladonna's leaf-speak was decent, but nowhere near the level of Fancy's, so she joined with another powerful lineage through Hemlock. Their daughter, Sundew, has powers that perhaps with time will grow even more powerful than Fancy's...only time will tell.
