So This is a rewrite of the meeting between Casey and Tim from Marble Hornets.

Tim my seem Out of character, so sorry about.

It was just kinda for fun and a stress relief project.

A young girl around the age of 15-16 walked through the doors of the Middlebrook’s Psychiatric Hospital. Her brown eyes that usually shined with hope and energy where dull and lifeless looking, her hair was up into a sloppy ponytail. The young girl’s mother followed her into the building; the mother walked her daughter to the front desk.

“My daughter Casey Louise Smith is here to see Doctor Coleman.” Casey’s mother spoke

“I see that your daughter is on the list and it is listed here that she in for blood work and mental health evaluation, is that correct?” The receptionist said.

“Yes. Casey can you please go a sit-down and wait to be called back.” He mom turned and started talking to talk to the receptionist.  Casey walked over to the chairs she sat down as far away from some of the other patents there. She sat there messing with the some of the band-aids on her arm; he attention was taken away from her fidgeting when she saw some sit down across from her, the man was most likely in his thirties or late twenties he was wearing red flannel and had black hair. The man sitting across for her no longer captured her interest, so she when messing with the medical bracelet. Casey’s mom walked over to where his daughter was sitting. She started to talk to the man in an attempt to be kind.

“Hi, nice to meet you my name is Helen Smith, and this is daughter Casey.” Casey looked up to see why her mom mentioned her name.  Casey turned her focus back to the band-aids and medical bracelet. Casey could be less interested in what her mom was saying all she wanted was to go home a curl up in a ball and die because She was so hyped up on her medications. The man looked at Casey as if to examine his behavior.

“Sorry about her she not in the right mindset right now.”

“It is fine, I just don’t usually see kids here, and I am here a lot,” the man spoke, “Oh I never introduced my self, I am Tim.” The man sitting across for Casey said.

The two adults continued their talk for quite a long time as Casey sat and waited to be called to the back room for her appointment.  For what seemed like thirty plus minutes.

“Casey Smith! Dr. Coleman will now see you,” A nurse called from across the room. Casey pulled herself up from the chair she walked over to the nurse who told her to wait there as she went to give her mom some papers. “Mrs. Smith We will be drawing blood from your daughter, and we need you to sign some papers.” The nurse hands her the papers and heads back over to Casey.

Casey walked down the white halls to the room where she will meet the doctor. She looked at saw of the patience’s with their nurse walking or having conversations. During the walk, Casey started feeling light-headed as she thought it was just done to her forgetting to drink water. When she arrived at the room she sat down now she felt, even more, light headed.

“Would it be possible for me to get some water and my meds. I don’t feel so good.”

“Yes, you will just have to hold I will need to go and get them.” The nurse walked out of the room. Casey felt more nauseous now, she could hardly think straight and could not shake the feeling that she was being watched.

After some time the nurse came back into the room with Casey’s mom and Dr. Coleman in tow. “Hello Casey, it is good to see you again. I heard that you are not doing to good, so I found someone that could help on a personal level what was going with you, he will be your mentor. He is waiting outside right now.”

“Okay. But he is come you can’t help me.” Everyone in the room exchanged looks of concern.  Casey looked so ill her nose was bleeding. Mrs. Smith pulled Casey’s medication out of her pocket to give it to her.  The pills ratted as her mom opened the bottle. “You give me that I will fall. I can’t, haven’t you taken enough from me?” She turned yelling at no one.

“Casey baby what are you talking about? Who has taken from you?”

“The boss! I must obey. He…” Casey stopped talking.  The room was dead silent. The doctor took Casey’s meds from her mothers and then give them to Casey to take.  They got the blood drawn from Casey as she took her meds. They took her out of the room to meet her mentor.

Opening the door, Casey was meet with the face of the of the man that sat across from her in the waiting room, Tim. She quickly got anxious around him, which is some that shouldn't happen due to her medication; it was so possed to keep her emotion fro getting out of control. Tim just watched Casey in an attempt to get a read on her body language and what her next move could be. The walk to the meeting room where they would have more room and so that Casey could get to know Tim a lot better.

"So... kid what is your name..." There was a long pause before Tim realized that she wouldn't talk. "um... your mom said that you are on your school's track and field team. She said that you are quite good at it too." The walk was long was to the meeting room. They got to the office every sat down, and the talk began.

"So, Tim we want you to know that Casey here suffers from Schizoaffective Disorder, and the reason we picked you to mentor her, was because she speaks of the same delusions and hallucinations; a tall man in the woods what is watching her. We believe that you may be able to talk to her better than we could ever."

"Any help or insight you give us would help us so much," Mrs. Smith said as if begging him for the magical answer, to all of the there problems. Tim turned to Casey; she was rocking back and forth in her chair, her focus was on the window. He didn't see what she was looking at, but he had a feeling that she could feel His presence too. "Don't worry about he-" She was interrupted by her daughter coughing.  "she does that often she zones out a lot. Cas sweety would like a cough drop?"

"Yes, mom.." Her she sounds like she was holding back a cough she spoke. "M.. may I go to the bathroom?"

"Sure, it is just across the hall I will have a nurse walk you over." Casey walked over to the door. The nurses in the room got up and walked over to Casey the restroom.

The conversation continued once Casey left. "Tim I would like to give you heads up with you are getting your self into with Casey... She very dangerous when she is off her meds she attacked her stepfather with a kitchen knife when she was five and a couple months ago she almost killed one of the school's football players with a wooden pencil."  He was taken aback that her daughter was possible of that type of damage.

Casey hated that she was always had to have some by her side because the didn't trust her enough to be left alone for like ten minutes. Casey opened the door to the restroom and ran to the sink as fast as she could, she threw up blood into the sink and went into a coughing fit.  Casey pulled her head up to look at her self in the mirror; blood dripped from her mouth. Turning around Casey came face to face with the monster that everyone called a hallucination, her head filled with the sound of static. The tall, faceless man corned her bending down he touched the shoulder, she threw up more blood, breathing became almost impossible. Reaching into her pocket, she found a pen she had left in her pocket form school. Tried to stab the monster which was a massive mistake that Casey realized she made after it was too late.

"I- I a m so-r-rry..." Casey managed to get out. Then the monster raked it long claw-like fingers across her back Casey like out an ear piercing scream.

The nurse waiting outside banging on the door trying to get in. Realizing she couldn't get in the room, she ran back to the room to tell the doctor what was happening and so that he could set off the alarm, that there was an emergency. Slamming open the door to the office. "Help! She screaming, I think it is a Psychotic break."

The bathroom door opened Casey walked down the empty hall; an alarm was blaring. The office door opened Casey had her back turned to her them. One of the rounded the corner and was face to face with Casey.  He got close to Casey, and she lost it He tried everything he could to restrain her. The guard was not prepared for having a makeshift weapon on her she stabbed him in the, and when he loosened his grip, she ran in an attempt to escape. Mrs. Smith and Tim took off after her. He managed to keep up with her. Turning the corner Tim tackled her they both expected to hit the hard tile floor, but they instead they found themselves rolling down the side of a hill.

"What the hell are you doing kid," Tim yelled at Casey. Pulling her self off the forest floor brushing the dirty for her shirt.

"Well, I would love to know, because What I know is that a faceless monster man is following me around and controlling my actions!"  Casey started to storm off in another direction.

"Get back here now!"

"Why should I listen to you?" She said as she spun around to face Tim. "You have no clue what is like to live in my shoes! It is a constant fight for survival!" Casey's voice was sharp and filled with anger. She bent down a picked up the sharpest thing she could find. "I have no clue were or when I will wake. I am constantly being told to kill the people I love and care for, and I bring them into my mess." She held the rock to his neck. Without a second thought, He quickly disarmed Casey.

"Now you listen to me kid! I have been in your shoes long than you know." Tim said, he gave Casey the death glare. "Now we are going back to the hospital, and you are getting help." was voice was stern and sound like a father scolding their miss behaving child. Casey quickly realizing what she just did she ran as fast as she could away from him.

After hours of running, Casey found herself in an abandoned hospital. The old building gave off the feeling that Middlebrook's did, she could not shake the feeling of being watched and the fear that she would be stuck there forever.

"Found you! Get over here now!" Tim stood at the other end of the hallway. "Casey we are going to get you help-" He was cut off by a sudden nosebleed "He is here isn't he." Casey froze when Tim spoke about him. The Moster appeared in the middle of both of them. Without a second thought, Tim charged Casey, She didn't move Casey was completely frozen in fear of the monster that stood in front of her.

"Casey we need to go now." Tim pulled that on the young girl's arm, but she didn't move at all.

"Your one of us aren't you," Tim looked shocked as she spoke. Casey looked at him seeing the realization in her eyes. "You are just like. Why didn't you tell me and why are you telling me to listen to him." Casey pointed to the tall, faceless man. "You are a traitor! You turned your back on us!" Taking him by surprise, Casey pinned him to the wall the of the old building.

"Casey stop! You don't know what you are doing, he is making you do this you need to reclaim your mind." Tim gained the upper hand and pushed the teen girl off of him. Realizing with the Operator having Casey under his control this would be a losing battle Tim, grabbing a pipe that had fallen from the ceiling he hit Casey in the back of her legs to slow her down. Casey pulled herself off the ground. Charging him with the intent to kill the crashed to the ground. The smell of the old building no longer filled the air but the smell cleaning supplies of Middlebrook’s Psychiatric Hospital. They both crashed into the metal fire doors, there was a loud thud. Casey turned to Tim, still under the Operators control she went for the kill. She had her hands around his neck, and there was no intention of letting go until he was no longer breathing.

With every bit voice he could get Tim yelled "Halt!" and Casey stops dead in her tracks. He even didn't realize what he just did or the word that came out of his mouth, it just all happened in a flash. Casey slowly pulled her self off of Tim, the look of shock and fear filled her eyes.

"Uhm... I-I didn't mean to. I don't know what came over me," She back away even more. Tim got closer to her "Stay, way from me. I don't want to hurt you more than I all ready have."  Casey kept backing up until she hit someone it was one of the hospital guards. He quickly detained Casey and walked her to one of the rooms.  She was squirming and yelling at the top of her lungs.

Casey's mom came running over Tim with Dr. Coleman on her heals. "Tim are you okay? I hope she didn't hurt you too much." he voice was full of concern.

"I am all right Mrs. Smith. it is just a couple of starches." He tried to act calm and not freak out about what just happened to him. He was still trying to understand what just happened him and if really just happened. "Would it be possible for me to sit and Talk to your daughter?" Mrs. Smith looked shocked at his request.

"Mr. Wright I don't believe that would be the best idea right now. Let's give her some space." Dr. Coleman spoke. "Now if you two would like we can go to my office and take more about what just happened." The group head to the office.

After some time of talking everyone seemed to head there own ways Tim asked if he could talk to Casey again as if to see who she was holding up. "Yes, I think she would need someone to talk to. I also hate to ask this of you Tim, but could you stay with her while I go back to our house and get some of her things for an overnight stay?" Mrs. Smith asked.

"It would not be a problem at all. It might help me to get a better understanding of your daughter." Tim said.  They walked to Casey's room. She was laying in the bed half asleep, she looked drained from the day's experience. She seemed to perk up a tiny bit when she saw her mom and Tim come into the room.

"Hi, Casey so I am going to go home and get some of your overnight things and pick up Sam from school then I will be back. So Tim will watch you while I am gone." Casey's mom said. "Would you like me to bring you anything from the house."

"If possible could you bring the blanket Jordan got me for my birthday?" Casey asked.

"Sure thing." her mother said before she left the room.

Tim walked over to the chair by the side of the bed and sat down. "So how are you kid doing, after that whole mess." Tim tried to keep his voice low in a temp not to scare Casey.

"You know I am not a baby. But thank you for helping me, I don't know what would have happened if you didn't help me." Casey was tearing as she talked.

"Well, it is not a big deal kiddo. I know how scary it is, I know how scary it is. I was once in your position," Tim said "I had no clue how to deal what was happening to me or if it was real. I learned the hard way, and I don't want you or anyone for that matter to go through what I had to experience." Casey gives Tim a look of confusion.

"Wait, so are you telling that it is real and I am not the only one who going throw this." she Paused for a split second "So, I am not crazy. But then why don't people believe me."

"Most people see it as fiction, or they won't believe it until they see it." He knew that those where the words she didn't want to hear. "But after some time you just kinda learn to deal with it."

"So, it just doesn't go away, the feeling of being watched, Waking up in strange places, the missing memories, The monster in the suit chasing me down."

"No, not really it may be better sometimes but it never truly goes away."

"Oh... ok."

The look of disappointment in her broke his heart as a kid he wanted everything to go away too, but he learned it would never happen. Seeing Casey in the condition, she was in brought back all of the memory for his childhood. It hurt him so much, but he knew that he couldn't change his past but help some else change their future.

"Hey, Tim..." Casey moved her self more up right "Thanks for what you did earlier." Casey hugged him.

"No problem kiddo."
