AN DOMHAN - Scenes & stories
My brain sometimes generates scenes and I have to write em down somewhere. These are all related to the nine realms! If you don't know what those are, please look through my library to find more information.
The Dragon and the Panther
"Are you happy?", asked the feline as he approached the Dragon. It had been a sad day today, one of the realms was forcefully removed from the network as punishment for its attempts at overtaking the anchor. The Panther knew who was behind this- or at least partially. He looked at the Dragon with questioning and worried eyes.
"To be fair, not particularly. It is a waste of a realm.", The dragon said, shifting its long snake-like body into a comfortable position. He glanced at the Panther for a moment before looking back at the crumbling realm. It had lost all of its light by now. "But it was a necessary experiment. It wasn't like the Octopus used it anyways."
"You caused an entire world of living creatures to die simply because you wanted to experiment? And you harmed one of our siblings just because?" The Panther said, sounding agitated. "The others won't trust you with anything now. You know that! They didn't like you from the start and now you just go about doing shit like this and you expect them to treat you normally?"
"I don't." The dragon said, taking a deep breath before sighing. "It is far more complicated, brother. If I were to explain myself right now, you may think of me as insane. Please understand that this had to happen. It was for the safety of us all." He explained himself somewhat.
"I already think you're insane with your actions. I can't understand how this would be for our safety. Is it not about the safety of those worlds? Are you becoming just as greedy and selfish as the Unicorn?", The Panther sat down, now watching the dying realm as well. Before he could continue, the Dragon interrupted him. "Do not compare me to her. You know that I wouldn't harm what I created. I am trying to save it. I am trying to protect what you have made, what I have made, and if that means destroying a realm or two in the process then so be it." The dragon growled at him.
"You really have gone mad." The Panther said, shaking its head. "Don't hurt yourself, friend. Don't start a war between the stars, we don't know how badly it could hurt those below us." He warned him. "I will stay back for now. I will watch. But if you ever pull something like that again, if I ever feel like you are threatening what I nurtured and protected in all these years, you know I will not be merciful on you." He said, looking directly at the dragon and baring his teeth.
"You won't have to worry about that. Just trust me." Said the Dragon as he rose to his feet and melded into the stars, leaving the Panther to witness the tenth realm splitting in half.
