Pokemon Heartful Cutscenes

Shagbark: greetings! im professor shagbark, though most call me "the pokemon professor", I prefer my name though haha

Shagbark: if you're seeing this, it means you're singing up for the trainer program here in [region name], thats great! whether you're a battler, contest specialist or anything in-between we'll be happy to have you. our region is full of creatures known as pokemon

(insert the bit of a pokemon being let out of a pokeball, early game normal type tm)

Shagbark: as im sure you know, humans live among pokémon as co-workers and allies. humans and pokemon have been working together and forming strong bonds since the dawn of time. its actually this bond that is the focus of my research. I want to know more about the bonds pokemon form, with both humans and each other. ah but that's enough about me, lets hear a bit about you. you'll be asked some questions so that I can get to know you better, once finished they will be sent to me in four-leaf town, where I will be waiting with you're choice of starters.

(oh boy time to create your character, a list of 3 character different trainer sprites is shown)

(after selection, the same trainer sprite is now offered in different skin tones, apon clicking one you're presented with a yes/no option)

(selecting anything but custom will result in a message asking "are you sure?" then a yes/no, selecting custom will allow the player to put in their preferred pronouns and use those)

finally, is their a nickname you would like to be called

(selecting no finishes the questions, selecting yes however brings up another naming screen that will allow the player to choose a nickname, the nickname will be used by the friendly rival, along with sometimes other npc's under certain situations)

(players chosen sprite fades into screen)
