The whole bullshit of this “she was the sun and he was her moon” and other such romantic expressions pisses him off to no end. People aren’t so simple as to be categorized so easily, though maybe anyone who thinks that romance is the only thing meaningful in life is. Kichi has no patience for that shit. He also has no particular interest in romantic relationships in the first place, but even if he did, he wouldn’t be the kind of lovesick sap that lets it control his entire life. He secretly vows to never get tied up in that mess, and goes on with his life.

Makura, however, is absolutely the kind of person to write sonnets about their world changing love. Kichi isn’t quite sure how he found the most emotional and sentimental drow in existence, but here is, reading questionable poetry. If Makura compares them to any heavenly bodies though, all bets are off. He will absolutely tell him that he’s being ridiculous, and then maybe throw up on his fancy heels for good measure.

This is probably some kind of karma for looking down on romance, but who fucking cares? He still thinks it’s mostly stupid and usually over the top, but Makura is an exception. And as annoying as he generally finds this shit, he has found a fondness for it when it comes from Makura.

Even if he is just absolutely terrible at poetry. Someone needs to stop him.
