Rocky looked over at the cheerful pink Pouflon bouncing at his side. She was much tinier than he was, but that didn’t seem to phase him in the slightest. “So what was this grand idea you had for today?”

Cherry looked around with a mischievous glimmer in her eyes as if she was making sure no one was listening to their conversation without anyone knowing, despite the fact that they were in the middle of a wide open field outside Goldfair.

“We are going to go on an adventure,” she explained before puffing up with excitement. Surely Rocky just couldn’t resist such an exciting idea as an adventure, could he? They were opportunities for wonder and stories to tell for the rest of their lives.

The piebald Vespire tweaked a brow and looked down at his friend, trying to hide a smile. “An adventure? Seems like a bit of trouble don’t you think? I mean don’t those involve planning and saving coins and telling everyone else where-“

“No way!” she cut him off, hopping up onto his back. She knew he was just teasing her like he always did, but that didn’t stop her from getting over-excited at the playful banter. “That’s the best part! We can just get up and go go GO!” She stomped her little padded feet on his shoulders and furled wings with each time she said “go,” and even ended her excitement nudging the back of his head like the added encouragement would entice him to move forward. He chuckled and started walking forward, knowing she would keep her balance. “Alright, alright, what direction are we headed first?”
