Starlights Backstory (WIP)
Even at a young age Starlight showcased a high concentration of magical power, but that power would come at a cost.
When Starlight was sent a academy acceptance letter in the mail she was absolutely overjoyed, a wave of relief washing over her. Celestia’s school for gifted unicorns was a very difficult school to get into and they were filled with worry that they wouldn’t make the cut, but after months of waiting to hear back, she had been accepted along with a handful of other students!
“Mom, I just got my letter from the school!” She yelled down the hall, trotting as fast as her legs could carry her.
“Bring it here, I’d wish to see it!” Her mother called back, “And no running in the house!”
Starlight slowed her pace a bit, finally making it to the living room where her mother sat, “Here it is, look what it says!” She said ecstatically.
Her mother placed her glasses on her snout, her eyes darting back and forth across the scroll she held in her hooves. The older mare’s eyes widened, “You’ve been accepted?!” She says, in shock and amazement.
“Yep! And school orientation is this Friday!” The purple mare exclaims, “I’ll have to mark it on my calendar!”
