Incomplete Monthly Prompt
Was going to do the monthly prompt for December but never finished, here's what I did get.
Radish frowned as he listened to the wind, almost seeming to whisper words too quiet to understand as it reeked havoc outside. Every time he tried to focus on something words would drift atop the winds to him almost seeming to invite the Arborling out into the freezing weather outside. It had been like that for hours now and Radish was getting curious and slightly unnerved.
So the next time the wind whispered to him he listened, coat already on in preparation the small male didn't think twice before stepping out of the house's warmth and into the cold winter that persisted outside. As if sensing this the wind began to pick up, violently whipping his scarf into his face and nearly knocking the radish over. Gathering his tail into his arms Radish took in the snow covered land surrounding him. Letting the whispers guide him he started off towards the woods, heavy snowfall noticeably impairing his view of his surroundings.
The Arborling wandered for an unknown amount of time trying to block out the cold as he listened to the wind. Sometimes the voices would seem to fade leaving him stranded in the middle of the woods terrified and clueless of how to get home. Other times they'd get louder, so much so in fact he'd be left with no choice but to cover his ears as he waited for the noise to pass.
