> Personality: Pothos lives a very work focused lifestyle. She finds the various monsters of Ptitheros fascinating instead of frightening, never passing up an opportunity to document or observe them. They have learned the ability to hold a set of journals with one set of hands and write in them with the other, giving her the ability to make these documents very quickly in the field. Pothos has very little grasp on how others' thought processes work, often suggesting plans to others that go completely out of their comfort zones, such as venturing way too close to something or actively alerting hostile creatures to their presence. She does genuinely care about those close to her though, trying their best to keep them safe and happy in her own way.

> Relationships:

Vehlk: Family; Pothos took Vehlk under her medaforacle wing when they left Bolden and were looking for work since they weren’t afraid of monster hunting. At first they were just protecting her since that was their job, but they soon started to find Pothos as a sort of parent figure and started getting caught up in her schemes for fun. This is very much mutual, Pothos looks after them like her own child.

Varan: Family; Varan and Vehlk have a very similar relationship with Pothos, with Varan being taken in a little after they were. Pothos looks out for him like her own son.

Viridian: Working relationship; Viridian has done work for Pothos in the past, delivering new information on monster locations that they have documented to clients. Viridian often tries to track down Pothos whenever she has a need for monster related information.

> Backstory: 

    Pothos was born in Sellesaut to a family of blacksmiths. She had no interest in taking on the family business though, and there was no pressure from their family to take on that responsibility either. As the middle child of her five siblings, she was free to wander about the forests of the island as they pleased. Pothos’ older siblings told them stories of adventure and monsters on the mainland, and they became fascinated with the idea of going on an adventure and meeting these monsters. 

    Pothos tried training with the weapons her family had made, but found that she just wasn’t cut out for fighting. So, if they couldn’t fight the monsters, they would watch the monsters. She learned how to take notes with one set of hands and hold up binoculars with the other, allowing her to take detailed notes on her observations in real time. She left Sellesaut after becoming an adult and traveled across the continent for many years.

    Eventually, Pothos got bored of watching these creatures from a far. They knew deep down that getting any closer by themself would just get them killed, so they traveled Braeyc to find monster hunters willing to get her close enough to do the research she wanted. She met Vehlk outside of Bolden as she was not allowed in, and they left with her since they were bored of the small town lifestyle and doing the same thing every day. Together they met Varan and after he tried to get in a fight with Pothos over a small misunderstanding she knew that he was exactly the type of impulsive ptithian she needed to pull off her dangerous stunts without question.
