Jenkins is a grumpy old fellow who has little interest in lavish things. He is stubborn and quiet, a rare grumble or mutter from him out in public would be shocking to see. He enjoys his space in Stilted City and stays most the time in His granddaughters house as a lonely widower.

Backstory:

Jenkins grew up within a lower to mid class family. When he was younger he dreamed of family and love. He’d fallen lovesick as a young adult with a young noble lefika. She was one of three daughters, but being the youngest her parents were lenient on her and not pushing her to learn the family business of gold mining. Jenkins found work in the company and slowly gained a better relationship with Josephine the daughter. After a decade or so they established themselves as mates and moved to Stilted City where they raised a loving family. 

Jenkins often spends time reminiscing on his perfect dream. He is taken care of by his granddaughter after falling into a depression when his mate passed on from age. After her passing he became bitter and secluded, but to people who knew him before that they all know what a hardworking and loving old man he is under that scarred sandpaper rough skin.
