I hope this letter finds you well.

We have had little conversation besides offhand mentions with other members, but I would like to formally hold the care of our child Morning with the Seekers. In our own shortcoming, our work has lead us to locations much too dangerous for herself, let alone the fact we rarely stay in a place for long. I don't want to let her grow up in a place where she will never have a longtime connection to someone other than us, let alone be almost entirely alone. She'll do good there- she's very bright and already tinkers with whatever she can get her hands on, sometimes watching us work over our shoulders. Tell her she can't watch you and she'll do it anyway.

She's been informed already about the arrangement and is a little nervous. She's always been a very social girl with tight-knit connections and is afraid to leave them behind in Ichorrai, even if she knows it's necessary. If you have anyone around her age somewhere in the base, let someone let her know, would you? I'd appreciate the favor, especially since she doesn't have us around. She'll be bound to want to join someone out there, and we'll feel safe knowing she's doing it with others- additionally, she'll be quick to bug the engineers in the area, and will absolutely want to be involved. She has no formal safety training, only from us.

Though anxious, she is naturally a bit eager to get away from us and do something on her own.
