Yeuros and Zarian get pissed off at Questeria. So they fight her. Which is pretty dumb.

Those two need revamped so bad, they might not even keep their current names, that's how bad it is. So take their depictions with a grain of salt.

The large ballroom was completely devoid of people, aside from the pair now arriving. It's spacious walls lightly echoed their footsteps on the reflective crystal flooring, filling the empty space created by the near silence. Even just below the surface, no outside noise could be heard. This place was usually so very lively. Events hosted by the royal family always took place here. Birthdays, weddings, concerts... and if not here, they would take place out in the main plaza of the city.

But there were no such plans for today, nor for anytime soon. Why Zarian was leading Questeria here was a mystery, but luckily for her, such an unanswered question did not pull at her. She, honestly, couldn't care less about their well being.

He stopped in the center of the ballroom, with the lovely chandelier overhead. It's light dimly lit the area in a pink hue.

"Why have you brought me here." She demanded, lacking patience. She always acted this way when dealing with the two heirs, a blatant lie, as she is far more patient than any mortal could hope to be.

"I merely have something to inform you of, away from any potential eavesdroppers." He answered with an edge of caution.

The Aethyll being waited for his response, looking down at him.

"A family secret, if you will," he stated, looking her directly in the eyes. They reflected an uncharacteristic confidence and harshness...

A figure flickered into existence over by the entrance in front of her, only to vanish just as quickly as they appeared. Though, not for long. The apparition revealed itself as Yeuros, leaping at her from above clad in the armor of an ancient sort and wielding a spear.

It would be difficult to outmaneuver a practical god, as evident by his imminent failure. Her stance changed to better apply her footing and increase her balance as she held out her arm in a defensive position.

A sparkle of soft light soon formed fragments of lavender crystals, held together by a shimmery hard light. The tip of the heir's spear was unable to come into contact with the shield itself, as instead, it's tip was bathed in a deep blue hue, nearly blinding to the both of them. The controlled plasma threatened to melt her shield away and singe her clothing and flesh, even at this distance.

In response, almost automatically, a shield of energy folded around her being, protecting her against the oppressive heat. Once Yeuros realized the attack had failed, he was teleported back by Zarian's side. Questeria allowed the shield to vanish and a sparkle of light and faced the pair, her expression that of reserved surprise.

They were not finished with their tricks, however.

Zarian's formal clothing melted away, revealing a similar get up to his twin. In his hand formed a crystalline staff, tipped with a brilliant pentadodecahedron, a 50 sided shape resembling an irregular star, simply floating atop a pedestal. They were both fighting her... with magic. Never did she think the pair of cowards would face her, let alone work together utilizing such a potentially crippling secret.

It was actually uplifting. Perhaps the two could work together after all and do some good for these broken people. Fine. She would humor them with a fight, and allow them to win.

"A cute trick," she stated coldly. All part of the act, as she could easily kill the both of them in one fell swoop in her current state.

"We will not tolerate your corrupt manipulation of us any longer!" Zarian yelled, immediately followed by Yeuros, "Therefore we must take matters into our own hands." He spun the weapon around, preparing an attack in a far too obvious manner.

The goddess cracked a smile. "Feel free to try." Just as Zarian had changed his attire to better fit the occasion, she too could perform the simple trick. She donned simplistic armor from centuries before, sparking with a protective energy just as theirs did. Her hair was put up in a bun and ponytail, held in place by several charms. Unlike those two she didn't bother with the helmet; it always seemed more troublesome than not. With a wave of her hand, a crystal rod materialized, pulsing with colors all across the spectrum.

This did not stop the heirs.  A chill was sent through the air, forming shards of ice crystals as Yeuros was teleported to her left, just out of her view, and sliced at the nothing directly in front of him. A controlled blast of wind laced with sharpened spicules of ice lashed out towards her.

A petty attack, able to be predicted with ease. She held out her hand and sent out an opposite gust of wind which heated the area, melting the ice particles.

This was not technically magic. Instead, she considered it math, with an added catalyst. An eatharyian idea, in all actuality. She just borrowed it.
