prompts for the pond dwellers

1. Anne and Cordelia are forced to go berry picking together. Anne manages to make Cordelia cry 

2. Zachary breaks the window to his father's study on accident. He decides to run away and live in the woods. Cosette has to track him down and convince him to come home 

3. Frank pushes Zachary off a small bridge into the water. Cordelia laughs  

4. Cordelia and Cosette share a quiet moment 

 5. Cordelia and Cosette argue, specifically over Cosette's relationship with Zachary  

6. Clifford gets sick while he and Clarence are travelling and Clarence is convinced his dad is going to die and he's going to be abandoned in a far off country. 

7. Clarence gets a small working model airplane and puts Estrella on it and flies her into a tree. 

8. Cordelia eats something that makes her sick 

9. Impossible makes Zachary and Anne get up very early to help him go fishing. Cosette joins them of her own accord. 

10. Cosette convinces Anne to go spelunking  

11. Cosette and Anne sneak into Zachary's room to look at his art. Impossible is there, pretending to sleep, but actually he is watching them and laughing to himself as they tiptoe around to not "wake him up" 

12. Clifford and Clarence pose for photos for Clarence's birthday. By the end they are so irritated they can't even talk to each other  

13. Zachary and Jeremy go down to a cafe to buy a treat, Jeremy talks the entire time and Zachary falls asleep at the table while listening and Jeremy doesn't notice until ten minutes later
14. Eugene just wants to sleep, but some well-meaning friend/family member is lecturing him on how he is actually a failure because he didn't talk enough during a recent party 

15. Eugene isn't in a good mood, so Clifford makes him coffee. But he adds salt instead of sugar and Eugene takes a big gulp and then spits it out into Clifford's face  

16. Frank and Anne are sent to pick something up from the store for a baking project. They come back with Impossible and no explanation of where the money went  

17. Cosette and Anne go wading in a creek and harass a crab 

18. Eugene gets stuck waiting out in the rain as his girlfriend talks to someone inside, because he doesn't want to talk to anyone  1

9. Eugene wants to read the newspaper, Felix and Clifford will not stand for this  

20. Zachary helps Impossible with his garden. Anne appears and tries to distract him with showing him snails in a bucket she found. 21. Zachary gets locked in a shed and is convinced it is on purpose and someone is trying to kill him. 

22. Impossible tries to keep Anne from lighting a large fire in his fireplace. 

23. Impossible and Cosette get stuck together in a shop during a downpour that lasts several hours, they chat and play board games to pass the time  

24. Clarence and Estrella get on the wrong bus and go off in the opposite direction that Clifford is going. 

25. Jeremy and Zachary play detective trying to solve the disappearance of a small household item 

26. Anne tricks Jeremy into giving Zachary a food item that he hates 

27. Eugene tries to ask his girlfriend what she would like for a birthday present, but gets so mixed up that she thinks he's trying to break up with her

 28. Clarence visits Estrella's parents and eats a teeny tiny meal with them 

29. Impossible has to watch Cosette and Cordelia for a couple hours and by the end he wants to scream

30. Zachary helps Anne tend to an injured little lizard

31. Cosette challenges Zachary to a stone skipping competition 

32. Clifford looses Clarence in a marketplace and searches for him for hours, only to return to the hotel room they were staying in and find that Clarence went back hours ago to wait for him 

33. Jeremy pulls a prank on Zachary that causes Zachary to almost break off their friendship

34. The children take Impossible while he is sleeping, put him on the swing, and push the swing so hard that Impossible is yeeted into the distance

35. Cordelia is forced to do yardwork 

36. Clarence learns to paint and Clifford spends hours trying to clean out the stains from his clothes 

37. Clarence gets lost in a maze and Estrella has to help him escape 

38. Cosette and Zachary go down to pick up sea shells at the beach and are verbally harassed by a flock of rude seagulls 

39. Anne and Impossible bake a cake. Anne keeps eating the frosting and Impossible chases her off with a rolling pin 

40. Cosette buys Zachary some art supplies as a gift. Zachary can't bring himself to actually use the supplies

41. Frank and Jeremy have to team up to make up a lie to keep Zachary from getting in trouble. Zachary finds out and is upset that they lied, but also emotional that they tried to get him out of trouble 

42. Clifford accidentally locks Estrella in a box and Clarence must figure out how to get her out without hurting her and before she runs out of air 

43. Cosette and Zachary climb up on top of a building to cloud gaze. it starts to rain and they are stuck on the roof.

44.  Anne gets lost in the woods, panics, tries to build a fire, and starts a small brush fire that rapidly because a large brush fire 

45. Cosette and Annie have a snowball fight 

46. Anne is sad and Cosette and Zachary team up to cheer her up 

47. Clarence and Estrella get lost and it's getting and Estrella is on the brink of freezing to death 

48. Clifford buys Estrella a normal human sized drink and she insists on finishing it all herself

49. Anne and Cordelia are forced to sit next to each other during a meal. Someone spills their hot tea onto the other 

50. Zachary, Cosette, and Impossible go for a walk in the woods
