Mild Violence

So I've been thinking about doing a sort of side project comic based around the idea of changing things in the original Canon to be different (often to remedy unfair happenings or to fulfill wistful thinking) and see how the story would progress from there! Here are some of the changes from pre arc one that I might have changed.

Theme Lighter Light Dark Darker Reset
Text Serif Sans Serif Reset

1. Mapleshade was exiled with her kits but was swept up by the water while trying to convince them to follow her. She ends up drowning, leaving the kits on the shore. Frecklewish notices this and, in a moment of clarity, takes them back, leaving Mapleshade to her now obvious fate. The kits grieved, but would grow up to be healthy and stable warriors.

2. Mosskit lives because Bluestar doesn't give them up. Instead, she speaks to the leader about how she can work as a (future) deputy and still raise the kits, wins said argument, and still gets the position.

3. Snowfur doesn't die to a car crash, but to whitecough after Whitestorm becomes a Warrior.

4. Thistleclaw isn't a fucking weirdo, but does remain overly ambitious and somewhat antagonistic. He remains harsh on Tigerpaw/claw and does instigate conflict, but no longer outright abuses anyone nefariously.

5. Tigerpaw never beats Tiny up, but does chase him away.

6. Tiny ends up in Windclan through a series of unfortunate events and, instead of being chased away as well, is taken in. He is later named Tinyfoot and grows to be a sharp tongued and sly warrior.

7. Rusty gets Smudge to join him on his venture out, and together they meet Greypaw, who does tussle with them, but ultimately makes friends. The fire prophecy still exists and, while Bluestar is hesitant, does extend the offer to both of them. They end up both joining. Rusty becomes Firepaw and Smudge becomes Smudgepaw (by his own request).

8. Due to Tigerclaw not being an outright brutish aggressive villain this go around, he is stopped from killing Redtail by by Ravenpaw, who nervously convinces him against it with an emotional little speech. This touches Tigerclaw in a way that truly affects him and puts him on a less evil man route from that point on.

9. Runningwind becomes  Smudgepaw's mentor and Longtail becomes Firepaw's. Longtail begrudgingly respects Firepaw after their initial battle and, at first, was resentful of Bluestar for the unexpected assignment, but ends up taking an older brother role to Firepaw after a couple of moons.
