Chapter 1

ϒ °Quaero longissimum° ϒ

A story that trails between the secure walls of Chydrem tells about peace and equality. A tribe so powerful, yet so pacific that it hurts. Only if that was the truth that even the twolegs expressed.

Upon a love created by a simple Chydrem female and no stronger than a venemous wyvern, 3 powerful lizards were doomed for an eternity. But only one of them got to suffer the consequences of the racous life, for he has been born like no other within the tribe; his genes trailing after his rogued father. So different; that not even the Chyrdrems diety would approve of him. His sisters; the two beloved females who cared for their younger brother till death named him Victorian-after one of the tribes wisest mentors. Victorian--what a blessed name. Alas, not even such a high name could guard this being from the disgusted stares and sly comments. While the entire tribe pranced around formally, he flapped around with those large, rippy wings. The entire tribe held power of the toxicus ignis; fire and suffocating smoke merged into one. Yet there he was; suffering the painful burns of the acid that shined through his pale markings. He was different, and there was nothing he could do about it. No matter how much support Victorian gained from his beloved sisters, he still drove aside and grew into a savage fiend. Day by day, this beast like no other grew to hate Chydrem more and more. Why shouldnt he? He was no leviathan; no elegant, 4 legged lizard with wings as big as a house, and spiked fins running along his broad back. He was a wyvern; something Chydrem saw and heard of only in books their mentors wrote and expressed. Overtime, the swined behaviour of this pestful tribe was too much to endure. Outraged by their behaviour, Victorian finnaly snapped. On a rainy, cold night, a brute crack awoke the senitels. They rushed over to the scenery, yet only to see a shadow of a large monster; looming over their shattered, unhatched batch of eggs. The queens of those same eggs flew over as well, only to have their pained weeps worsen by the deaths of those same two senitels. Hell--it took quite the tribe to get such a tratior away from their grounds. But now, the queens werent the only ones quivering over their unborn children. By the tribes gates, two females silently sat, holding each other and grieving over their brothers lost sanity. Yet soon enough, while one held misery; the other held hatred. How could one betray family like this? After everything theyve done for him, this was nothing but a disgusting, ferocious misdeed. In the very back of the distant forests and fields, a new shadow began to loom over. His broad figure flew over swiftly, flapping his wings with ease. Victorian panted heavily and quickly, blood still trickling down his greenish scales. At last, the inhuman lizard landed high in a mountain, right above a silent swamp. He sighed, looking back to the direction of his old, demolished tribe. What a shame-he thought. Only if he could do more; make others feel the same way he had to growing up. But then it clicked-His parents. Those two idiotic lovers who left the 3 of their children for some unkown reason. Victorian was going to find them, make them pay for all the misery and suffering they caused. And it was only a matter of time before something tried to stop him; before the acid he held within himself had to awake yet again.
