They were happy like the very first day

sharing their memories

Having a good time like the best friends they once were

Happiness and innocence.

They are reunited. Tomo-chan and Mi-chan together again.

They were discussing about their favorite idols, Rena was told she could be in band because her singing had charmed many people even though she never pursued any career in music. Tomo would also laugh at how Rena described the gravure models showcased in so many magazines and advertisements. 

Most importantly, Tomo became closer to Takumi. Both seem to be made of each other as they had fallen in love at first sight literally: Tomoko was completely astonished by the beauty that emanates from this young boy. Takumi was charmed by how cute Tomoko was and he saw a loving and precious girl that completed his life. 

Rena was overjoyed by seeing how happy Takumi and Tomoko were together, she came closer to Tomoko and whispered:

"Up there, I won't suffer anymore. I'm at peace and I'm okay. I love you, Tomo-chan."

....

It was a dream. A beautiful dream that ended in a rather brutal wake up call. The same dream every night, Tomoko would wake up and cry silently. She haven't seen Takumi in months now and he never showed up since. She's completely on her own, actually lost. She's still in her own bedroom, the one she never left but everything else is different and dark. Instead, she feels a menacing presence.
