Prompt 3: Blind Date

*There was excitement for the experience of a totally blind date.  They knew nothing of each other other than which gender they called to be.  Her usual dream was the big buckling male that could lift her up off her feet and fight in her honor battling monsters as she played the damsel in distress.  Yet upon hearing she had been paired with another female, Chanel was oddly comfortable with this.  It eased her to be stress free, trying something she usually would not pick.  With her new formed upgrades and glam up it only felt fitting to explore the unknown more.  Hopefully the one she was meeting was kind and didn't mind how she looked.

As planned Chanel took charge of the date for the first half.  She would plan their meeting and lunch while the other planned their date afterwards.  To start Chanel opted for the classic romantic picnic date, but make it glam!  There was no simple blanket with sandwiches n juice.  Like anything Chanel did she did in extra - a plethora of pillows for them to sit upon.  Two different types of tasty fruit pies ordered from the finest baker in shibai.  A delicious set of crispy breads, with freshly picked spring salad.  Opting to add out meat in case her date was a vegetarian or vegan, so she would not offend.  All of this placed on a nice ivory blanket on top of a wooden crate to keep things balanced and un-wobbly - not to mention it just looked nicer.  On the side she had placed a few different wines and apple juice for them to pick through.  In baskets near by sitting high on wooden stumps were wild flowers picked and bunched up for aesthetics.

"I hope she likes this.."  Chanel coo'd sitting on a plush pillow out in the meadow where they would meet.  A botanical garden slowly coming back to life in the middle of Shibai.  Sadly the grass wasn't as green as she had hoped, but nonetheless it still looked nice of a set up.  Before the other would show the lavender dream attempted to fix at her braids and tend to her tight curly hair a bit more.  No frizz in sight for this lady!  Brushing through her cascading tail carefully it was a shock to look up and meet eyes with another smiling at her.  In her preening she had become unaware of the others arrival.  Quickly it was for Chanel to sit up straight and then stand beaming with a smile.

"Are you my date? The one I was paired with on Whispers Dating signup?  My name is Chanel, but everyone close calls me Coco.  You can call me that if you like."  She noticed the girl appear a bit shy in expression having a hard time keeping eye contact.  It was nerve racking for anyone to meet someone for the first time, so Chanel tried to break the ice.

" You have absolutely beautiful hair! It's not often I get to meet another kamishiba with curly or wavy hair, let alone a marvelous red."  Turning away for a moment she moved to a basket closest to her.  Opening it up while she spoke Chanel pulled out a small bouquet of flowers, Lavender and Babies Breath.  Mixing a lovely purple and white much like her own appearance.  Thoughtfully she held it out to her. 

"I hope you don't mind lavender and babies breath.... I would have made a bouquet that reminded me of you... but I didn't know what you would look like.  So I put this together instead."  Handing it over she then allowed her free hand to wave over to the picnic pillows.  "Oh do please have a seat! You can sit across or next to me - whatever makes you comfortable."  Smiling ear to ear Chanel was excited for the moment, and even more excited to hear what her pretty date would have to say!  Being in the moment she was enamored by the other girls lovely fins, soothing ocean blue fur and mermaid fin.  Since she had never met another kamishiba with fins before.  All in all while her date decided on were to sit or what to say, Chanel would pull out two flute glasses and look over to say, 

"Do you want blue ice wine or sparkling apple juice?"*

#When Robin knew who was going to be her blind date, she "eep" a little. Wasn't sure how to behave, she wasn't uncomfortable, but yet curious of how it would end or what would happen. Excited, she made a present for her, took a shell and decorated with silver ribbons.

She took a ferris to Shibai and spot her blind date, sweating like crazy took enough courage and went to where her partner was. After Chanel's question, Robin could only nod yes with her head, having a hard time to make eye contact. Something on her inside was trying to pull it together. Then Chanel spoke again, and made Robin to blush. "T-Thank you" and then noticed the bouquet of flowers, purple lavender and babies breath, she loved purple and the babies breath were a nice touch and combination. She gladly accepted the bouquet. "They're sweet!" she smelled them, loved the scent. "I love them, thank you. Oh! I have a present for you too." she take out a small box from her bag and opened it in front of her. It was the shell with the silver ribbons. "Is not much, and I wasn't sure if you would like something like this. I personally love shells, you can hear the ocean if you put it in your ear. I thought it was right to give it." she handed the box to Coco. After that, she sit down.

"I have never tried wine before, I can try it for once." Coco giggled and grabbed two glasses for both and served the drinks. Both raised the glasses and thanked for the blind date, they never imagine it would be a nice time. Coco's expression after the drink, savouring every bit of it and then Robin's reaction was hilarious, she almost coughed about it. "I can regret doing this... haha" she put the glass on the blanket, "never thought it would be a bit bitter and sweet at the same time, more bitter though. I just need to get used to it." both laughed after that. 

There was a small silence, Robin wasn't sure what to do next, until she noticed the food, everything looked delicious. "I'm so sorry, I'm so bad at this." she apologized, Coco didn't mind at all and helped Robin to serve the food for both parts. Both taking some of everything to taste it, glad thing they hadn't troubles with the combination at all. Grabbed more wine and cheers for the date and that afterwards goes well too.

It was midday still, and the sky had this beautiful blue with fluffy clouds. Robin suggested to lay down on the grass and watch the clouds passing by, and find shapes on them. Coco pointed out one that looked like a star shape, so Robin noticed a small cloud combining with the star and made a shooting star. "Is a cloudy shooting star! Make a wish!" Robin closed her eyes and made a small wish. Coco did too. "What did you ask for?"

"It wouldn't come true if I tell you, is a secret until it comes true!" Coco replied and wink at her.

"Fair enough." the next cloud sessions were funny, with so many shapes and characters, one even had Whisper's sillhouette. Both laughed and thanked the blind date was possible. "I didn't think this would end like this, I had so much fun with you." she looked to her, eye to eye. "Thank you for everything! I hope we can repeat one day, even if it doesn't work as expected, maybe as friends?" she blushed, but smiled at Coco. "I hope it does".#
