Log of an Unusual

An unusual creature has been put under my care this day. Given a short guide to study along with an egg, I'll be in charge of something called a Quetzalcoatl as my priority assignment. Whether by subterfuge or treachery, I care not how they acquired such a rare specimen, as long as the parents are guaranteed to leave my home in peace. An additional dragon showed up at my doorstep, but I assume it has been trying to follow the coatl egg around to its various destinations as it isn't mine nor Jenka's. It's small and quick, having the ability to dodge in and out of reflective surfaces, the conclusion obvious being some sort of metal hybrid. Or a pureblood with quite the odd heritage giving it strange physical traits; I don't care enough to set a trap and find out. As long as the coatl is in my possession, so is the dragon. 

Jenka has shown an interest in the egg, but I've made it quite clear this isn't like the others. We'll both be in a great deal of trouble if it gets eaten. I'm sure they understand well enough, but I still feel a sort of prick at the back of my mind that something annoying shall happen again either way. Setting up an enclosure for the egg, it should help to protect and regulate it with an ideal environment mimicking the chronoscape area it hailed from. I myself, am quite excited to see what type of beast it'll turn into. Though if it turns out magicless, I've also been given permission to do what I please with it and they'll acquire another for me, a win win. For now, I eagerly will pass the days along with my previous project until it deems ready to hatch.
