What is something your character wishes they could forget?

Pip wishes she could forget the truth.
But isn't knowing the truth a good thing? Well, sometimes. Actually- it's a very good thing to know in her case, it's what will keep her alive in the coming apocalypse, and she knows this.
Then, you might be wondering- why would she want to forget? How bad can it be that she'd choose likely death over it... well as previously mentioned about the coming apocalypse...
Isn't it fair? to not want to be aware of such things. Maybe if you could live out the rest of your days without knowing that, soon, in days, months, turns? That soon it'd all be over- she'd survive, but all of her friends, her newfound family, nothing but ashes.
You must be thinking, maybe with this knowledge she could stop it, save everyone? No. She's simply the cause, she very well knows that much.
You see, this is her mission, her duty, she must be the one to bring the end, she must destroy everyone she's grown to love, and there's no turning back now.

Write a short script/dialogue between two characters. Looks like they  just had an argument... How easily will they resolve it, if they even try?

"Hey sis I'm back! How've ya be-"
"YOU!"
"Uh, yeah? Me, I'm back!"
"WHy you little-"
"Woah woah, what's the matter?"
"WHAT'S THE MATTER?! Are you insane!?"
"Uh, lemme guess, my breath smells like sardines. Sorry about that I just had-"
"You idiot! You fool! You lovable dummy, why I- *sniff*"
"Hey, hey now. Don't cry."
"You've been *sniff* gone! For THREE MONTHS! You just vanished! *sniff* You never answered your phone, we thought you were dead!"
"I left a note. I said I was going into deep space and there was no cell service!"
"Yeah, very reassuring... did you- join a gang?"
"What!? Of course noottttt eeeeexaaactly..."
"The truth, spit it out."
"Don't tell mom and dad, but! It's -top secret- For the government."
"Mhm, sure yeah, fine... don't tell me. *sigh* As long as you're safe."
"Ya can't get rid of me that easily."
"Oh get over here."
"But I'm a cool secret agent now I don't hug- oh, omph- alright"

At what time of day is your character most active? Why? Is that normal for their world or kind?


John is active, well pretty much always. He gets some shuteye here and there when he can... But there's always more work for him to do, it's not exactly easy being janitor of the multiverse.
Is it normal for his species? Is it normal for any species? Certainly not! Is it healthy? Even less so.
But what can you do when trillions of lives are in your hands... and all your thoughts are swirling together and everything is starting to fade in and out and wow, he's been living on caffeine shots, someone please help this poor man.
