a slugsquirm poem
alone and slow moving,
a slug surrounded by crabs.
a mind of self-disapproving,
and a social life covered in scabs.
relationships like waves against rocks,
a mind like a tide that overflows.
and as their view of me drops,
my home will remain in shadows.
