Caws and Oinks

Though Kano could not stray far from the water’s edge for too long, he could still endure long enough to go for a nice hunt, or take in the summer sun. The loner emerged from the ocean’s pull, salty liquid clinging to his fur as he rose soaked and immersed. He didn’t bother to shake free the water, there was no need. Sand sunk between his webbed paws, welcoming him to land, brilliant sulphuric eyes scanned the terrain for a moment as the rogue pondered on what he wanted to hunt.

Fish were fine, but sometimes he had a taste for other things. The large ocean dweller moved at a leisurely pace, he was not up here to rush himself. No, he could submerge at any point to recharge his batteries. He didn’t intend to stray far away from the tide anyhow.

The sun was high, the male soaked it in, and just as he was at a loss for what his appetite begged for - the scent of swine intoxicated the wind. A grin pulled at the edges of his lips, he hoped it foraged near by, as his pace then shifted toward the aroma’s source.
