Cyrille

Cyrille had the great pleasure of rolling jos eyes so hard that his sockets ached just a tad at his husband's last line. A pity his 'punishment' of lingering didn't make due on its consequence. It'd make things so much easier if he were simply made an unfortunate widower.

"Context, hm?" Cyrille replied dryly. "Well, let's go down the list then, shall we?" He reached down to the side of the bed, picking up the bottle Atreus had spilled down his front the night before, and he turned the bottle in his hand to show the elaborate label. "Theft. Do you know how difficult it is to get a Veres bottle now he's dead?" He set the bottle back down as he strode over towards Atreus. "Destruction of property. Shattering one of my vases last night. You're lucky I don't keep pieces of my actual collection in the entrance hall, or I'd be taking it our of your hide right now."

He perused the open wardrobe carelessly, pulling a subtle grey waistcoat with copper trim to offset the blue. "Cheating." He said simply, pulling the waistcoat on his husband in a rather mundane way. "And with Divos the tax collector? Really? You can do better than that."

Meticulous with buttoning him up, he pulled down on the edges a little too smartly, to prevent any wrinkles, of course. "And lastly, embarrassing me. You stood me up for Lady Duvet's soiree last night in order to parade back here smashedly drunk, and if a runner of mine found you and made sure you didn't fall into a ditch all the way home, how careful do you think you were?"

He moved over to the jewelry box by the besdise table and full length mirror, picking out various bracelets and rings he'd taken off Atreus the night before. "Give me one good reason I should consider this relationship more than a mess to clean up."
