hey i have literally no idea why i wrote him just. dying once. but i DID i GUESS

everything happened in an instant. toxin had been fighting against something- trying so, so hard to make it out on top. his foot slipped and he blinked at the wrong time- he didn't even know what happened until he felt the feeling of flowing blood pumping in time to his heart. he fell limp against his enemy, praying and begging anything that would listen not to take him now.

' come home. ' the skies called, softly, warm winds enveloping his body. the sensation of the air trying to comfort him was painful, in comparison to the scalding liquid gushing from his abdomen.

the monstrous warrior held tight against him, blade run clean through his middle. it twisted there, drawing a wet scream from his blood-coated lungs. the poisonous curse on the blade didn't help, his entire body felt like death itself.

i'm going to die here, he thought, teeth gritted as his hands grasped uselessly at the bottom of the sword.

' we will welcome you home. let them take you. '

i don't want to die.

' we must all make sacrifices. '

' your death is a rebirth. '

that's what the wind kept saying, kept forcing into his head. he was meant to suffer this way, locked in a battle of mortality & immortality. locked with a blade running through him, stuck facing his death head-on.

' you will become more than this. '

i don't want to.

' you must. '
