Session 6: Bixio takes Horse Yakie for a ride and runs into a certain Centaur.

A New Friend

Bixio wasn't always a bright sunny day in the ways of his intelligence, so pretending Yakie was a horse did not come easy to him, especially since he did not view the man as such a beast. He was intelligent in a way that a normal horse was not, which was clearly apparent to their new follower.

At the soonest possible convenience, Bixio would try to ditch her. For one, he didn't want more people to get caught up in his pursuit, and he didn't want to know any more about this supposed curse she had mentioned. He didn't even care to ask further about it, only keeping a glancing eye on her.

"So..." Sylph started to talk as they walked down the dirt path just the two of them and the horse that he rode on. "T-tell me a little about yourself!" she looked at the large cat with nothing but a warm smile. She didn't have too much experience with interaction with normal people.... mainly nobles like her... so she was pretty sure this is what people did? As they walked, her tail swayed side to side as she looked down to the horse underneath the leonin and the horse he rode on. "What type of horse is he?"

Bixio tended to keep his identity hidden, since most human folk he believed to know him as Apollo: the Gladiator. But, he supposed there wasn't much harm in sharing who he was. Perhaps he was inspired by his surroundings. "I work the land. -Live a humble life." His voice was surprisingly warm, rich, and gentle with a slight rasp. "He's- a mix breed. I'm not sure." Bixio covered with a bluff.

Sylph giggled slightly when the man told her the horse he was riding was a mixed breed, it was obvious in some ways actually. He mentioned that he lived off the land, and for some reason the centaur thought back to the workers who use to tend to the fields back home. "That must be a hard life at times though mister... I dont think you told me your name?"

"It's not important. I doubt we will be together long. Most people I travel with don't stay long enough for it to matter." Bixio neglected to explain why, hoping she'd form her own reasoning. He wasn't trying to be rude, he just didn't want to get involved with her or have her involved with him, especially if she was having her own problems.

But- after wandering into a temple and getting attacked by viscous and strange creatures, and his friend seemingly resurrected for reasons truly unknown, he wondered if this curse she might be driven by was related to his own encounters with the supernatural. He gave her a side glance. "Where did you say you were from again? The South?" The place was crawling with War, but if things in the north became increasingly odd, he wondered if turning around might not be the lesser of evils.

"O-oh.." Sylph's smile slowly turned to a frown as her ears lowered down in a sad manner. Perhaps she really wasn't suited for talking with normal beings... The centaur stayed silent for a bit before the lion asked her again where she was from once more. "I am from the south yes!" confirming his question. "I-I am trying to go north to find a potential cure for a curse for my sister..." she admitted before growing quiet again
