The-Slave:

Where are you?

You don't know. You followed a light to this dusty corner after your encounter with the endlessly working sewing machine. You feel tired, almost groggy, as if you've just woken up, but it's hard to tell with all this plush that makes up your new body. Still, some things never change... you feel like you're being watched.

You look around, but there's nothing here. Windows too high to reach shine moonlight down from a bright night. The soft blue is comforting and cold all at the same time. It doesn't look as if any of the Lux Kamishiba have been in this place, so you can't be sure if you're alone.

Maybe you could call out?

Before you can decide, a dark shape moves down the hall, interrupting one of the shafts of blue. It's only for an instant, but it shakes you to your core for a reason you can't quite tell.

Do you follow?

Me:

Siara was not sure what she saw in there, she looked back to Aegis to ask him if he saw it too. "Did you see what I saw?" she asked concerned while Aegis looked at her with a confusion expression. "Sorry dear, I don't know what you're talking about. We need to keep moving, let's go." Aegis was about to push her gently forward when she decided to stop and look out for whatever was there hiding... or maybe she could be mistaken. "Siara! Don't go anywhere dangerous!" He followed her, and at the corner he lost her. "No, dang it. No, not her, please!"

Siara however kept walking, not knowing anymore where she was going. She only knew two things, she lost Aegis on her way and she's worry for this strange dark shape. She just had one thing in mind. "If I can find it and grab information will be a win-win. Also, I might help it if it's in trouble, or maybe die in the intention to try." Just thinking about it gave a chill on her fluff spine, she would hate to leave her love behind, but what if this was necessary?

Aegis kept looking for her with no avail, he has to keep going but he would never leave the place without her. Not after everything he did to conquer her love.
Just a few minutes later both came across and pump into each other. "Ah! Found you!"
"Sorry, please come with me, trust me in this one." She looked at him with determination, he couldn't say anything and make her company. "All right, I trust you, let's go." Both went to see what was going on... would it be good... or would it be something to repent later? They just knew now, that there was "someone" or "something" out there.

The-Slave:

There was a stronger feeling of being watched than ever.

Somehow, no matter how far apart they were from one another, they could both have felt it. The darkness past the light from the windows offered little clue to what or who was out there. The only thing that made it clear they weren't walking in circles was the fact that the dust motes flew around their paws, marking a clear path back the way they'd come.

"There is power in love."

The comment fell like a pin drop, loud and soft at the same time.

In the next shaft of light, a dark figure sat. It was a plush like them, but hard to see even in the moonlight. Glowing eyes regarded the two with an idle, almost bored curiosity. "You could have been lost, but you found your way back to one another. Where do you see yourselves many years from now? What stories will you sing?"

Plush wings flicked upwards, waiting for an answer.

Me:

Both of them looked to each other, smiling and then hug. They saw the figure, they weren't afraid of it, they were together and together will manage to keep going. As they heard the question they didn't hesitate to answer, both made an step forward while holding their paws together.

"Wherever we go, we will be a happy family. Grow old and share our adventures to our sons or daughter or maybe to our grandchildren. We will sing stories of love, of perseverance, and of friendship." Aegis answered happily. While Siara stood there quiet for a moment and then spoke. "We will sing stories of how we met you, a light shining in the dark to show the path to the ones who were lost and were brought back to where they belong." Siara finally ceased to speak and stayed there with her loved one, waiting patiently what would happen next, and whatever that was they're were not scared. Anything would be possible for both now.

The-Slave:

"Some stories fade, others carry on. No matter what fate awaits the memories you share, the echo remains, sending ripples into the future. That is part of what makes you strong together~"

Me:

Both Siara and Aegis felt good about their words, and smiled softly to it. Satisfied with their discovery they kept walking and hoping to get out of that mess as soon as possible so they could accomplish their wish.
