On an “average” day at Manor Dahlia where there’s a bunch of spirits dwelling in a rather super huge mansion, Quincey was writing a small letter to Lord Dahlia because he was going to that “place” again. But hopefully, they are able to come back to the manor earlier. Quincey finally finished the letter and put the letter somewhere on the bulletin board. He then left Manor Dahlia and off to the “place”, or rather the MCAverse, to be more specific, Coastal Bay City.

He managed to arrive at Coastal Bay City, to the daycare where there was a certain someone, with light-brown hair, and yellow eyes, waiting  for him there.

“You are literally 2 minutes late.” Ryna sighed. “That’s quite unusual since you are usually the early one. Anything’s the matter?”

“Oh, it's nothing.” Quincey gave a small sheepish laugh.

Ryna nodded. “Understandable. . .”

Quincey gave a small little laugh and a wink. “Well let’s just start the day!”

“Yeah whatever, now let’s stop yapping.” Ryna seemed rather upset for a moment.

After that, both Quincey and Ryna entered the Daycare.

The Daycare seemed like your normal everyday place, it has a lot of toys for kids to play, some tables, and a storytelling corner. A bunch of kids who were playing around with the toys noticed the two and ran towards them. After a few moments, the kids are currently crowding around them.

“Hiii Ms. Ryna and Mr. Quincey!!”

“Can you tell us a story Mr. Quincey???”

“Can we do a cooking activity today?”

“Are we gonna play the fun nickname game today???”

“Ms. Ryna and Mr. Quincey, look I brought my pet today!!!”

It seemed like the kids are rather excited that both of their favorite workers are here and still are crowding around.

Quincey with an amused smile answered. “Hi, and yes, I’ll tell a story today and also cute puppy!”

Ryna smiled back at the kids. “Hello! And maybe we may do those activities today-”

The kids seemed to be rather happy and left to random parts of the Daycare.

Quincey then walked to the storytelling corner where a bunch of kids are waiting for him to tell them a story.

“Can you please tell us a story about the manor again????”

“Those are really good! Tell us more!!”

“Please???”

Quincey gave a small amused smile again. “Yes of course!”

“Hooray!” One of the kids gave a smile.

“Now let’s calm down first…” Quincey smirked. “And we can truly start.”

Of course the kids calmed down and listened to the story that Quincey offered. After a few moments or minutes and so, he finished the story as the kids clapped.

By then it's the end of the shift of the daycare, and everything should end well right? Unfortunately, fate has another thing in mind.

“QUINCEY!?” Ryna shouted, it seemed like she’s worried about something.

“YEAH WHAT IS IT!?” Quincey is honestly so used to Ryna’s yelling at him because of an argument, but this time it sounds not so normal.

“5 of the children that we are supposed to babysit in the daycare went missing!” Ryna sighed.

“Where can they go!?” Quincey looked around.

“Can’t see them anywhere in the daycare, EVEN the parents are worried sick!” Ryna shouted.

“So they are not anywhere in the daycare???” Quincey sighed.

Quincey’s plans for going back to the manor early were ruined. As much as he wants to go back, he knew that both Ryna and himself has to find the kids, after all it’s his job to take care of them.

“I mean I shouldn’t be surprised if there’s something wacky going on at the daycare and the kids know it before we do.” Ryna gave a sigh.

“Pretty much yes.” Quincey was knocking at random walls, then all of a sudden a random door appeared.

“Oh my, a hidden door?” Ryna seemed rather surprised.

“Not surprised at this rate-” Quincey gave a small nod.

Ryna then simply went inside the hidden door, she doesn’t seem very hesitant.

Quincey gave a small shrug to himself and followed Ryna.

This hidden door leads to a strange library; rather, it seems to be filled with all kinds of books, which contain some sort of magic. The chairs, tables, even the shelves containing the books seemed to float.

Quincey blinked for a moment. “Well- that’s certainly normal I guess-”

“Let’s not even stand around here! We got to find them, remember?” Ryna rolled her eyes.

“Hiii!!” One of the kids waved, and they went towards the two.

“Well? Ask yourself, they came back-” Quincey seemed a bit annoyed.

So basically the whole group decided to leave the hidden room since the kids were found. The kids went back home with their parents, and things settled down again.

Both Quincey and Ryna gave a glare to each other before both of them cleaned things up and left the daycare, back to their own places.

Quincey gave a sigh to himself, feeling rather guilty because he officially broke a promise, as he went back to the manor.

“So why are you about 30 minutes late?” Nicole gave a small sinister giggle.

“Well, just some things I guess.” Quincey gave a small fake smile.

“At least you weren’t gone for two weeks-” Nicole nodded.

Quincey gave a nod and left to his room in the manor.
