Shallow waters beneat his feet would quickly move away with every step. Luan looked into the far distance of the sea, allowing himself to take time for himself rather than focusing on spending time with everyone else. While he had been anticipating the beach picnic eagerly, it wasn't until the exact day that he was hit with a wave of homesickness.

Homesickness... it felt like an unknown emotion, and he was unsure how to act, how he was meant to behave. But he had a hard time swallowing the feeling down. In order to not let his emotions show through and affect other moods, he choose to seperate from the group and wander off on his own, silently exploring the corners of the beach all the way down. His eyes scanned the sandy grounds for shells, and hermit crabs. Once in a while he was lucky enough to see a proper crab. He was never fast enough to catch one.

By the time had walked far enough to not notice the group anymore, the sky had already turned dark. He stood on his own watching the beautiful sky slowly fade from bright red to a swallowing pitchblack. Swallowing any form of life. The birds were no longer hovering the ocean, the boats were far away to notice them, surely settled at the docks to rest for the day, and the group he originally came to interact with was silenced out by distance. It was now that he noticed certain algae glowing inside of the water. Up until now he felt lonely and felt an unknown feeling of misplacement. He had sworn to accept this place as his home, considering he had no other to call home anymore....however....this wave of depression held thightly onto his heart, clutching it in homesickness he never experienced before. Homesickness for a place he was never allowed to go back to? A painful smile stood on his face as he picked up a crab from the oceans. It was too careless due to the silencing night that it had let its guard down, easily captured between Luans hand.

Only then Luan noticed a singular meteor rush down the sky, caught off guard by this sight he bent back up letting the crab free into the oceans. At first he thought his mind was playing tricks on him...but then.... he saw it again. And just like the sky slowly painting in stars rushing down the dark canvas, he could feel warm drops of tears rush down his face. Luan stood in silence, eyes following the skies above him carefully taking in the beautiful sight.

"Whereever you are right now, fret not my child you are loved, as stars above will shine for you, no matter where you go" those words repeated in his memories, silently repeating them into the void as noone was around to listen. He eventually took his glance off the sky, looking at his own hand. Collecting his energy into one point of his arm, it slowly started shining up. Veins of gold shined brightly on his forarms, creating beautiful lines of magic sigils. The Moon god had blessed them with those markings, he recalls his long forgotten mothers words. Where golden veins met darkblue air, the glow stood tall into the night. Small replicas of falling stars appeared above his arm, and a with a silenced smile screaming for home stood permanently on his face, as he turned around dancing on the waters edge with no one nearby. It had been weeks, months, since he had used his magic. Luan always felt uncertain to let others know about his own ability, considering it was forbidden in Aglao terra. He was free now, but he missed the place called home in his heart. He hoped one day La'Rue would come to be his proper home. But until then he'll keep dancing above pitchblack skies, with cold waters beneat his feet and stars above and within his veins, painting dark sureoundings into bright golds. An unknown feeling ligered deeply within his heart, pulsing strongly with every beat of his heart, and making it hard to breath. He could hear himself crying silently.
