Sitting in the beach chair stations undered the large and colorful umbrella, the long white haired male turned as he heard a pair of screeching noises. Watching the pair of children play, splashing each other for a moment before screeching again and running off, he smiled as he turned back to the person sitting with him.

“It’s quite nice to get out, though a shame that Octavius ran off with Karma somewhere, I feel they would enjoy some beach fun as the summer heat hits.” Setting down the sweating glass, it grew a bit too cold in his hand to keep holding. A problem that the heat would fix with time, even in the cooler shade.

“Indeed, but at least the twins wanted to come out.” The blond haired male was nervous away from all the other children, used to a small hoard of them always so happy to see him, but everyone else wanted to remain inside the comfort of the cooled manor. Something he couldn’t fault them for as he took up his own drink, though he wished they did so he could have some slight distractions from the flirty male who reached out to gently caress his hand.

“You should relax, there are no reasons for you to be so tense. The children are under great care, even without you watching their devious intentions.” Giving a gentle smile and getting one in return, Zech motioned at the twins  as Kiral moved his gaze to them. “Caira and Caius might want company as well.”

Ready to spring on the chance to play, Zech waved as Kiral was off, sighing as he leaned back and folded one leg over the other as he stayed in the comfort of the shade. Even in the calmer parts of life it seemed so full of chaos when it came down to it, and he had doubts it would ever grow calmer for many more years.

“Caira! Stooooop!” The male laughed, splashing his sister back as they kept playing in the crystal clear water, eventually Caius swimming away as his sister swam after. A young pair of almost identical squirrel twins, still ever so playful from their young age and years of pent up energy from being hidden within the mansion.

“Now, now, young ones. Why don’t we play with the beach ball?” Kiral interrupted, getting gasps as the pair swam towards him and making grabby hands at the white and red ball that was being held out of their reach. Any chance to entertain themselves was always welcome, more so from their uncles’ love interest who always took such good care of them in their uncle's absence.

“Yes yes! Let’s play!”

“Go a little farther, and we can toss it to each other.” Nodding, they both scattered a bit as Kiral watched them carefully before tossing the ball to one of them. Though he hit his mark, that didn’t mean the children were the best at catching. The ball hitting them gently and then Caira paddling after it before tossing it to her brother. The loud noises of children playing became a more soft noise of happy children as Kiral smiled as he watched the pair get along better. Not that they weren't just having some playful sibling rivalry, but he liked it so much more when all the children got along. Looking up to the sun that seemed so unforgiving now, like one of the desert lands full of only the heat of the sun, he knew they should soon take a break to hydrate and rest a bit. Even he knew not to battle the almighty ball of fury in the sky, even if the much younger children were still so naive to the heat as long as it was fun.
