Original Species Information
Original species information given to me by the previous owner. Despite receiving this information, I can find no record of the species existing anywhere. I'm keeping this info here for my own records in case I should like to refer to it later.
They [Abbings] are an artificial intelligence (a robot with simulated canine like instincts but human knowledge) that were manufactured by an independent group of scientists in the future.
The future in which these people live in really sucks. it’s radioactive and polluted and basically uninhabitable. so they created these robot dogs (Abbings) to send back to the past to stop whatever disaster the scientists programmer them to stop. For example, a nuclear war, a volcanic eruption, civil war, invention of things that will ruin the world etc etc. Each Abbing is named for their mission, and is programmed to finish the job no matter what. They will die for their cause.
The masks for Abbings always change, no mask is alike. the adornments have to do with their mission and time period to which they go to. For storm/visitor, his mask contains the mane, feathers, and beads. The leathery skin of an Abbing (they aren't actually furry at all, only if they need to adapt will they grow fur) is very thick and very cold or hot to the touch, depending on the environment. The tail is a weak spot which contains a backup generator and battery, therefore most scientists have updated the Abbings to have no tail at all, and have put the different mechanics that were otherwise in the tail, somewhere else.
Underneath the skin of an Abbing is titanium plating which protects the “skeleton” and other weapon storage. Abbings run on a glowing rock from the future, so every Abbing has a faint glow. If the rock is somehow crushed, the Abbing will die instantly. unless, of course, the battery and generator are dill in working order. They can only last on that method for a short period of time, however.Their paws can change to any hand known. They can be gecko hands, lion paws, human hands etc. some are created with communication technology.
They can be upgraded at any time to include different weapons etc.They do not feed, drink, or sleep. they can be very persuasive or dangerous, depending on their mission. whilst very strong, scientists still haven’t made Abbings invincible, and therefore can die like any creature."
