Personality: Very lighthearted and empathetic. Is well known for trying to sooth distressed patients through humor and such. Naturally curious about things he doesn't understand occasionally to the point of being reckless. Though thankfully he's fully capable of curbing these tendencies while working, usually.

Friend- Ketzie: Checker met Ketzie when he was studying at the College of Mau. Despite the rubasyn being a bit older and more experienced the two formed a friendship that lasted far beyond their shared timed at college. Though the two don't see each other in person much they keep in touch through callrunes.

Parents- Checker's parents are doctors just like him. His father is certainly more strict then his mother but both are generally kind. His father wasn't entirely pleased when Checker first announced he was going to work on Station 001 Zariel but eventually accepted it with gently pushing from Checker's mom.

Backstory: Checker comes from a family of doctors of varying degrees from Sequelliyphs, so it was always sort of a given he'd go into the profession. Thankfully he did take a natural interest in it; trying to follow his parents on numerous occasions to the small clinic they run. Eventually they gave up trying to keep him away and brought him along when they could. When he was old enough he began studying at the College of Mau where he met his friend Ketzie. The two would study together and generally hang out. Though they'd have to part ways the two promised to keep in touch. After college Checker began practicing in Sequelliyphs at his parent's clinic. He was happy for sure, but something always felt like it was missing. Talks of missions into space to discover what was out there caught his attention, so he decided that he would go to Station 001 Zariel. There he practices as a doctor and on occasion goes out with small crews as a medical professional.
