How did your Kia celebrate pride?

This year was Celastrina’s first pride since the calamity and she wasn’t sure how to celebrate. She was drawn to the magic mysteries of the new land she was in, having fallen through a portal rather recently. Everything was new and frightening and exciting. Everyone had been very nice to her since she fell through, which was nice, but she was still searching for her place in all of this. It was hectic and adjusting had been hard since she started a brand new life here. She decided she wasn’t ready to participate exactly, with everything being so overwhelming still. So she watched the celebrations from the sidelines and felt welcomed as she was pansexual, loving any gender she felt attracted to. She bought a little flag and drank her favorite drink and just enjoyed life, it was a nice, quiet change for her busy mind. She hoped next year she would find that peace in her life and feel enticed to branch out and do a bit more. But maybe she needed to figure out who she was now first.
