There was nothing but still, quietness. Surrounded him are open fields of lush emptiness and the unusual silence a sunny clear day should not have. The tall blonde tilted his head back hanging over the somber wooden bench staring at an empty sky. He didn’t know what to do nor where to go. No school, no work, no home, no family, nothing. Like the sky his life was devoided of life, meaning, anything. He closed his eyes and shifted his position to be laying on the bench instead. What to do? He laid their closing his eyes wishing he could fall into an eternal slumber.
