Orion’s hunger grew each day, and he was scared. He hadn't eaten… rather drank in more than a month. The craving for blood caused him excruciating pain, he did his best to hide it behind clenched teeth and forced smiles. He hid it cause he didn't want to worry his dear Wilson. On one of the occasions Orion's hunger pangs were worse than usual he nearly bit Wilson while he was sleeping. The temptation was much too strong, Orion constantly dreamed of sinking his teeth into Wilson’s soft flesh and consuming his sweet scarlet delicacy, Orion always awoke from such dreams in a cold sweat and the guilt crashed through his soul causing him to curse himself. During all this Unbeknownst to Orion, Wilson was no fool. He had an inkling something was wrong with Orion, he noticed the glossy look of his eyes, and the way he looked at him at times was akin to a wolf hungering for a succulent rabbit. He also noticed that shortly after such occasions he could see the guilt and remorse in Orion’s whole demeanor, almost caving in on himself. He knew what Orion was feeling, he knew what he was craving. Of course Wilson was afraid, almost terrified, but more than that he was worried for Orion. He worried for his lover's mind, he knew that if vampaeria didn't eat for a prolonged amount of time they'd turn into creatures that only felt hunger. Wilson was scared, yes, but he knew what he needed to do, and so he decided to feed himself to his wolf. Wilson decided to enact his plan when one night he felt Orion’s predatory intent so strong he felt like he was about to be ravaged by his darling but Orion was able to stop himself, Wilson could hear his soft crying from outside his door. The next day Wilson steeled his resolve until evening when he and Orion were cuddling on the couch and Orion started to get that look in his eyes, it was time. Wilson's voice came out in a whisper, " you can drink my blood" Orion looked at him weirdly tilting his head "what did you say?" Wilson cleared his throat and spoke clearly this time, "I want you to drink my blood. " Wilson blushed as he said this and Orion stared at him for what seemed like forever till finally he broke the silence "Are you sure?" Wilson nodded his head, "yes, very." Orion looked at him questioning his gaze becoming softer as he saw the fortitude in Wilson’s eyes, but still Orion needed to be sure Wilson was ready for him. "You're absolutely positively sure?" Wilson looked impatient and quickly answered, " Yes absolutely I've thought it through, it's ok I'm ready", though Wilson was glad Orion was making sure he was feeling ready, he couldn't help the feeling of impatience that shot through him, he found himself eager for Orion’s fangs. Orion, seeing that Wilson was steeled in his resolve, leaned into Wilson angling his muzzle above his collar bone where it meets his neck. Wilson could feel Orion’s hot breath close to his exposed neck, the tingling sensation causing a feeling of an unusual manifest throughout his body. Wilson closed his eyes, his heart raced as he waited in anticipation, after a few minutes Wilson noticed Orion hadn't moved at all for a while, he looked down at Orion, his poor lover had a look of fear in his eyes so strong it made Wilson's heart break, "Orion what's wrong?" Orion looked up at him startled,"um, just I don't want to hurt you, what if I drink too much of your blood if I can't stop myself." Orion closed his eyes, Wilson nuzzled his hair," it's ok Birdy, I trust you." Wilson gave Orion a soft kiss on his nose, "now go ahead I know you're starving." Orion gave Wilson a small smile, "ok." Orion leaned in again this time letting his fangs sink down into Wilson's soft flesh, Wilson flinched but it wasn't as painful as he thought it would be, Wilson could feel a droplet of blood roll down his chest, the sensation of Orion’s sucking felt odd and strange almost like he would imagine a leech would feel but with almost a fuzziness. Wilson started getting light headed after a minute in a few he started getting dizzy, "Orion stop" Orion slowly dislodged his teeth from Wilson, Orion saw the weary look in Wilson’s eyes, he gave him a smile and kissed him. Wilson was falling on himself after that and Orion carefully helped Wilson to his bed where Wilson promptly fell asleep, Orion stayed next to the bed for awhile before he nodded to sleep himself next to Wilson.
