     Cosmos smiles and hums to himself as he scurries across the bridge as he makes his way towards town.  Watching up in the sky as he goes as blue birds and little sparrows fly and seemingly dance through the air from tree to tree.  As he skitters along, his little nubs a blur of motion when he manages to finally cross the bridge and turns off of the path and heads down along the river bank to the edge of the river itself.

     He gazes with wide eyes at the sparkling surface of the slow moving river, looking down at his own reflection staring back at him with a happy, goofy grin before he is lightly bonked on his head by his Halo slipping forwards on his ears slightly from the angle.  Cosmos sits at the edge of the river, his tails swishing in the water lazily as he looks up at the opposite side of the river, which is mostly a steep almost cliff like incline, to see the very top of the small but cozy tower where he stays with his cutely prissy honey of a wife most nights when he isn’t passed out in his study from writing his latest book he hopes to have out by the anniversary of the last book’s release almost three years ago now.

     Cosmos sighs a little and looks at the river once more, tilting his head a little, thinking as best he knows how, at the flow of the river and the way some streams within it are slightly faster than other parts.  “Of course, that can explain the reasons sometimes people from one part of the star system can appear before people from another part!” he cries in jubilation as his eyes sparkle like the stars in the sky and he scurries home once more to continue his book
