It's been a few months now since the strange portal to another realm opened up in the Bunnarium's world. Slowly the new denizens of the other side have been adapting to the land they renamed "The Burrows"

As for the new BNNUY02? Well, they're not all as keen.

Cash or Credit?

Sinbad sighed, for what probably was the hundredth time today. Another customer, these newfound humans, coming into the bank to ask such stupid questions.

It had only been a month or two since the strange portal had opened up. Supposedly it lead to another world, a different reality with beings that looked like the bunnariums, just with different ears and a lack of an arium. They started appearing out of the portal almost instantly. Took a while for the language barrier to be broken, but once it was, these humans took it upon themselves to explore this 'newfound world' of theirs.

Sinbad could, in all honestly, not give less of a shit about all of that. What these weird new humans wanted to do was their business and their business alone. If they want to explore unfamiliar lands without an understanding of the language, the people and the culture, that's on them. But unfortunately for him, what a lot of these humans wanted to do was buy things, and commerce was his area of expertise.

See in the human world, much of their commerce was done 'digitally', whatever that meant. So many of them used a special magnetic card to do purchases. The Burrows, however, did not have this fancy schmancy technology. They relied solely on physical currency, either with barters or with chimes. The humans didn't have any chimes, so they didn't have any way to buy the things they wanted. So what do you do when you need money? You go to the bank!

Which leads us to Sinbad's current crisis of faith, the mass of humans coming into his bank, trying to take out money with their weird metal cards. And the poor, frazzled teller would have to tell them that their human cards don't work here, that they would have to find some other way to get money. But the humans wouldn't understand, and then would say the dreaded words. 'Let me speak to your manager', 'Get me someone else who understands'. And poor, poor, Sinbad, being the head officer of the bank, and every branch in Spring, would have to go up front and deal with these pesky humans and their pesky complaints.

'No, we can't accept any 'credit cards', we don't have credit cards in the Burrows'

'No, you can't access your human world bank account from here, we don't have any computers'

'No, we don't have computers. Or wi-fi, or A.I., or any other human digital jargon. We have magic, and we have money. What do you have?'

Most would eventually relent after a few minutes, muttering about how the servers must not be connected yet, or something. A few would do the smart thing and open up an account, hoping to be able to use it next time they came to visit. One of the newer tellers suggested offering a small chime bonus, to get more humans in. Not a bad idea, Sinbad thought. Might be something to bring up in a later meeting. Oh great, more people to deal with
