CC was never the social type. It's funny really, for she's the one with working chords and yet her brother seems much more talkative then she is. She prefers to be left alone with her book or to be together with her brother. And that's how her days go by. Everyday, just CC and her book, watching the other wynglings in the distance playing together. CC wished she could play and have fun with the others but it's so terrifying to speak to new people. They could say mean things or even think she's weird. For all her liking with the mystic, she feels left out at times.

Until one day, as she's reading on books about ancient stones, she stumbled upon a page on a special kind of moonstone. It is said that this moonstone could grant ones wish that'll help them grow. CC was hooked immediately. She read on and found that the moonstone can only be found on a full moon where the bramble bushes grow and the moonlight shines upon them. One must dig deep into the earth until they hit stone and let the moonlight transform it to the elusive moonstone. Wide eyed, CC was determined to find the moonstone.

Over the next few days, CC was busy with moon cycles and finding the perfect bramble spot where the moonlight shines. She would come home late and this prompt her brother Chernika to be suspicious of his little sister's disappearance every night.

One morning, CC was journalling her little research when Chernika came and waddled over to her. She slammed her journal shut and gave her brother an innocent smile. "Good morning Chemi! Lovely day we're having right?" said CC trying too hard. Chernika raised an eyebrow and gave her a questioning look. "Oh, worry not brother." CC patted her brothers head, "I've just been invested in some new findings." Chernika nodded slowly and patted away her sisters paws as she started to rustle his little hair tuft. They began to play tag until Alma came in and got them to eat their breakfast.

CC left her journal on her bed, not realising a certain page was open and someone was taking a quick peek.

3 nights later, it was time.

CC waited till her brother fell asleep to sneak out to find the bramble spot. She followed the full moon's light until it came to a small clearing. CC began to dig fast, worrying that the moonlight will pass her spot and miss her stone. As she kept on digging, she finally heard a loud clunk. She stumbled backwards in slight pain.

The moon now shines perfectly onto the dug up spot. Inside the hole, something began to shine bright. Slowly but surely, CC walks over to the whole and looked inside. In the hole, a crescent-shaped stone sits inside. Oddly enough, it was adorned in a black velvet string. CC never read anything about it being very jewelry-shaped, but she's not going to pass the chance on getting her hands on a moonstone. She wore the crescent-moon around her neck and made a wish to be more open, to try to speak up just a little bit. She wants to be able to play with the others and not feel so weird about it. It felt like nothing happened but there was an odd sense of courage coming from within her. CC smiled to herself and ran back home as fast as she could before anyone realised she was missing again.

When morning came, CC fidgets in her seat. Chernika came up to her with his messy bedhead and sleepy eyes. However, he woke up real quick when he saw CC's new accessory. He waved his arms animatedly with glee. CC pushed her brother away jokingly. Though her new choker was adorned with a rare moonstone, it had yet to give her the thing she wished for. A tap on her shoulder made CC turn around and a pink wyngling smiled at her. "I like your choker! It's really pretty!"

CC blushed hard and was worried she'd start to freak out, but she believed that the stone had given her an opportunity. "Th-thank you..." CC said, though her voice cracked near the end. The pink wyngling laughed, "Haha, you're kinda funny. Do you want to play with me and my friends later?" Excitedly, CC nodded a bit too eager. "Great! We'll meet outside once we're done eating," the pink wyngling patted CC.

As she left to eat, CC turned quickly to her brother and gaped in awe. "Did you see that?!" She grabbed Chernika's shoulder, "I think I just made a friend?! Oh gosh!" CC shook Chernika wildly. CC gasped, "Oh gosh, I have to write this in my journal!" She grabbed a toast and made a run for it back to her room leaving Chernika slightly dizzy from all the shaking.

Chernika watched his sister's excitement and smiled to himself slowly. He felt just a little bit bad for reading his sister's journal but he was glad he did. He was the one who planted the crescent-stone, knowing well that CC had marked the bramble spot with her signature for easy finding. He had gone out to make sure that CC never figured out that Chernika had been making the stone since the day he 'accidentally' read CC's journal. He wanted to make his sister happy, and he's glad that he could bring a smile to her face.
