What's their name, and why?

This is Mirage. The pack gave her this name because she appeared seemingly out of nowhere. They were back after a hunt, and Mirage pushed her way through the undergrowth of the forest to meet them. She was a little worse for wear, but quickly joined the conversation and seemed to merge into the pack's ranks quite well. She still has a habit of vanishing and suddenly reappearing, terrifying some of her friends in the process.

What would you pack for them on a trip?

Whenever they go on a trek, there's been discussion in the pack of making Mirage wear a bell. No-one has quite yet been brave enough to make her do it, but it would definitely help everyone keep track of her. When Mirage overheard this discussion one day, it was the funniest thing that she had ever heard. When the pack next goes on a big trip, she plans to surprise everyone by wearing a bell collar.

What's their best and worst trait?

Mirage's best trait is her acceptance. This Beardog will be friends with everyone, regardless of who they are or where they came from. She will often state that she's never met a stranger, and anyone who approaches her feels nothing but welcomed or loved. Conversely, her worst trait is that she's too trusting. She doesn't seem to see when people are actually bad, or when she really shouldn't be friends with them. She's quite easily manipulated, and never seems to learn from these past experiences. The pack often has to come to her aid and save her from her own decisions.
