Memories of the First Dusk

On the rare occasions that Ophelia was able to visit him in Weyna, they would occasionally spend some time away in the neighbouring town of Iiista. Ophelia enjoyed the unusual architecture and views, whilst Ajax was keen to observe the metal bubbles that the towns folk reside in. Of course, no visit was complete without a late evening visit to the waterfalls, and a quick dip into the water as dusk fell.

Upon their first visit, he picked some wild Hiezy and gifted them to Ophelia. Although she was unaware of their meaning, she appreciated the flowers nonetheless. She was captivated by their beauty and unique shape, exclaiming that she had never seen such a flower before. "Y'know, they're sort of a... special gift around here." "Special? How so?" "Well... they're usually a gift between partners, so I wanted you to have them. They act as a reminder of just how much I love you Ophie - well, as long as the flowers are alive", he chuckled. Her face flushed red almost immediately. Such a simple act yet there was so much meaning behind the flowers. However, this was quickly met with light-hearted teasing about how red her face had gone at the comment, which swiftly resulted in Ajax getting pushed back into the waterfalls pool.
