These are notes about the universe surrounding most of my stories.
Species info: The Nix
The Nix are bird like humanoids that somewhat resemble the harpy, these aliens inhabit the planet Nixerin.
Their canines are slightly longer than the average person.
The centre of their pupil is a dark almost black version of their eye colour.
Instead of arms they have wings that have hands in the middle similar to how a bats look in cartoons.
Every Nix has grey black (or more correctly a very dark grey) eye colour with a dark grey centre in the pupil, this is because of genetic modification before the nix is born. One may end up with their actual eye colour if the genetic modification isn’t done or if it is incomplete.
Baby Nix have fluffy feathers on their shoulders for extra warmth, these fall off as the Nix ages, when the Nix is older they have some feathers still but it is a lot thinner.
Certain Nix are born with an inhuman ability that allows them to lift incredibly heavy objects that normally a Nix wouldn't be able to.
Average adult height: 5’3“-5’6”
Average life span: 45-50 years (note select Nix that commonly become guards live up to 5 years longer)
