Two or more Starnies can combine or boost their powers by forming a Constellation!

Constellation Pacts can be fairly weak or 'casual' bonds (like having  an acquaintance or co-worker), or extremely close and strong  partnerships.    A Pact causes matching constellation-chart markings to  appear somewhere on each of their bodies-- the markings will have the  same number of stars as Starnies in the Pact.

A Starnie can  form more than one Pact at once-- if so, the constellation of their new  Pact(s) will appear alongside their old one(s), centered around the star  that represents that specific Starnie.

Constellation marks glow when a Starnie touches them! To call upon  their bond, a Starnie can trace the mark on their skin with their  tail/fingers. (Using their tongue might work too in a pinch lol)

The more "in tune" Starnies' personalities and wishes are with each  other, the more powerful their Constellation can be! Starnies whose  wishes couldn't both come true at once can't bond at all, and Starnies  bearing the same wish can form the most powerful Constellations.  Starnies that don't get along well with have a hard time bonding  regardless.

Starnies in a Constellation can form a fusion of 2+  Starnies, 'borrow' power from each other, boost each others' powers, or  summon each other (with varying levels of success based on how strong  their bond is) by activating their Constellation marks.

Fusion is very draining, especially if the Starnies are very different  in personality. The more Starnies forming the fusion, the faster they'll  exhaust themselves-- so rarely do more than 2 try it at once.

Constellations of Starnies gain a 'powerup' while working  together/close to each other-- the bigger the Constellation, the bigger  the boost.

When summoning others in their Constellation, a  weakly bonded or exhausted Starnie will only be able to send a  telepathic 'distress signal' of their location. A strongly  bonded/healthy Starnie can sometimes even cause the other Starnie(s) to  teleport to them!
