It was Braemha who first told him.

The Scions had only barely recruited and sent the siblings out on their first foray when they’d caught word. Of something big, he’d laugh about it now, but then?

”Oh! Brother, did you hear?” He could feel the miqo’te squirming around her place on his back — it was a normal thing to see the two like this; him carrying her around with smiles on their faces. It was no wonder people were confused to hear he was the Warrior of Light.

Or rather..

o”Hear what exactly, my dear sister?” He wasn’t paying her much mind as they made their way back inside the Waking Sands. Her feet had barely touched the ground before she was tugging him along.

”Minfilia has someone for us to meet!” A roll of his eyes as he let her continue. ”Another Warrior!”

That made him stop in his tracks. Braemha looked back at him, confusion clear on her face. Truly? Could that be possible? The Dragoon could feel his tongue in his throat.

Had Hydaelyn really chosen two Champions?

He didn’t think more on it as he beelined for the Solar. He could vaguely hear the girl calling out to him as he burst his way through. “What’s this I hear of another Wa—“

”Cj! What wonderful timing! I had hoped you’d be joining us soon!” His words were cut off as he caught sight of the guest.

He could feel the corners of his mouth quirking up. Whatever anxiety and hesitations he had had before were quickly dissolved as he processed the situation.

”…tis good to finally have someone else here.” He muttered, smile fully on his face at the woman.

A fellow Viera.

Suddenly, he didnt feel so alone.
