Welcome To Lera- Bunny

             Bunny was exploring the area around her new home with her little buneary Fleecie. She was on her way to see professor hemlock who had asked her to stop by his lab. Walking closer to the research lab a smile spreads across her face. Setting Fleecie down on the ground by her feet she knocks on the wooden door. It isn’t long till she hears noise and the door is quickly pulled open. On the other side of the door stands professor Hemlock with a giant grin on his face. “I’m so glad you could come my dear,” he exclaims, ushering her in. 

             Stepping into the lab she takes a look around, releasing a breath she didn’t realize she was holding. “Wow,” she says looking at the research he has compiled when she hears a small ruff. Looking down from the table she sees a small pink puppy pokemon looking back up at her. All of a sudden she hears a loud thumping sound and the puppy goes flying and Fleecie now stands there looking up at her innocently. “Fleecie how could you,” she sighs out as she turns to look at the pup now in professor Hemlock’s arms. “I am so sorry professor she just gets so jealous sometimes,” Bunny says with a depressed look on her face.

             The pup wiggles out of Hemlock's arms and sits next to Fleecie looking up at her again. “Uhmm, Professor,” she says, looking at him again. “Well, it looks like this pup has chosen you my dear,”he says in exuberance. She looks at him in shock, “what do you mean and what is this little pup?” Hemlock stands up and walks over before gently picking the small pink poof up off the floor. “This here is a Solpup. They are fairy/fire type pokemon that were almost driven to extinction,” he starts to explain. “They like to be in the warm rays of the sunshine present in the dusk and dawn. This pokemon is known as the frolicking pokemon,” Professor Hemlock finishes his explanation.

              “It seems he is fond of you though your buneary doesn’t seem fond of him…” He says side eyeing Fleecie. Bunny sighs before looking at Fleecie and picking her up off the floor holding her tightly in her arms. “Fleecie,” she says softly, the buneary frowns and crosses her arms glaring at the pink puppy in the professor’s arms. “Fleecie look at me please,” Bunny coaxes the small pokemon’s eyes back onto her. With a soft smile she says, “you know it can’t just be the two of us forever with just Katie and Tommy.” Fleecie pouts looking back at the puppy. “Others are bound to come into our life and we need help with our new farm plus look at him don’t you think he’s cute?” She finishes prompting the small rabbit to look at the pup again. 

                Fleecie huffs and nods her head before looking away, keeping her arms crossed. “Thank you Fleecie,” Bunny says with a soft smile. She sets Fleecie down on the floor and looks back up at the Professor. “Is it ok if this adorable boy comes with me?” she asks. A smile spreads across the Professor’s face and he gently holds out the small pup to her. “Hi, I'm Bunny,” she says gently, taking the pup out of the Professor’s arms. The Solpup yips and licks her face as she holds him in her arms.

             Bunny looks down at her new friend, “what shall we call you?” The pup yips again and licks her face once more before pulling back and tilting its head to the side. Yipping yet again the pup sticks out its tongue slightly and bleps at her. “Awww, you are so darn cute,” Bunny says with her smile growing even larger. With her smile wide she looks at the solpup and says, “we will call you Yippers.” She laughs when the pup leans forward and starts licking her face again. 

             Feeling a thump on her foot she looks down to see  Fleecie looking up at her in annoyance. “Fleecie,” she sighs, shifting the pup to one arm and picking her buneary up with the other. Standing back up she looks at the professor with both her darlings in her arms. “Thank you professor,” she says, her smile growing soft as she sets both of her darlings down on a chair next to where she is standing. She turns to look at the research again, “my sister and I plan to open a small farm with ranching facilities as well. Is there anything you would like us to grow or raise for your research,” she asks him whilst looking over some of his notes. 

              The professor thinks for a moment before saying, “Maybe you could let me know of any new variants you find and what kind of habitat you found them in?” He says with a thoughtful look on his face. “Ok,” she replies quickly, “we can do that no problem. Our homestead will be a good place for that.” She turns and picks up her darlings once more, Yippers moving to lay across her shoulders. Giggling, she holds Fleecie in her arms, turning to look at Hemlock once more. “Thank you so much for the opportunity you have given to us professor,” she says. 

               Hemlock nods and leads her to the door opening it for her as she steps out. “Thank you once more for the chance to have a fresh start Professor you don’t know how much this means to us,” She says before turning and starting her trek back home. Walking through Polberry she takes a deep breath and looks around at all the new things and the new start that awaits her and her sister. “Yippers,” she says petting the small floof, “ I can’t wait to introduce you to my older sister. I’m sure she will adore you as much as I do.” Bunny keeps walking till she reaches the outskirts of Poleberry and can see her new home. Her smile grows once more, “time to head home guys,” she says softly walking towards the farm.
