First Meeting

Jackal had prepared himself for every scenario, practiced every line he should say, any witty comeback to anything his opponent threw at him, what he wasn’t expecting was a small, colorful, Half-Sandwing with an attitude to be his opponent. 

Jackal managed, quite excellently, to stifle his surprise, but his opponent’s face quickly shifted into what Jackal assumed was a smirk at his displeasure. 

Swallowing his displeasure at this turn of events, Jackal managed to cough out a short greeting.

“You are my opponent I assume?”

“Please dear, don’t sound so excited to meet me,” the sandwing said, barely missing a beat.

“I am your opponent - The name is Skink” The bright dragon said extending his claws out for a handshake.

“Jackal” He said, hesitatingly taking Skinks claws. 

This wasn’t exactly what he was expecting, but Jackal was always good at improvising.
