Dungeon RPs with kuhliloaches!!

Coranne peered down into the opening to the overgrown tomb ready to dive in at a moments notice. She was there on a VERY important mission for Callum of course and she was not about to let him down now!!! The stuff in this cave is what they needed to find and her litwick partner has seen it the last time the two of them were down there. Although it did end with them getting chased off by an angry spiritomb she put that thought behind her and stepped back and bit ready to jump into the pit.

While she was hyping herself up, jumping up and down and shaking her nervousness out of her hands she noticed another person on the other side of the entrance. Were they just here to observe the opening? maybe just walking around the area? but wait..... what if they were here for the same thing she was???? She couldn't let this other person get all of it before she did!!! she ran over and leaned herself over the ledge to get her voice further across the gap "Hey you!!! I'm getting all the stuff in here so up better not get your hopes up!!!" she yelled while putting her hands on either side of her mouth. Quickly after she tumbled into the dungeon catching herself mid flight right as she turned into a murkrow not giving the mysterious person a chance to talk or to get a head start.

Eleuterio had just perched on a good vantage point. All they wanted to do was look into the tomb, and they were getting yelled at?? They whipped their head to face the stranger and shouted, "Like Hell you are! Who do you think I am?"

They instantly shifted into their feral form and dived into the tomb after the other murkrow. Eleuterio didn't even know this person, and they already wanted to shadowbox them. Thankfully, Absko wasn't here to stop them from acting out.

Coranne quickly spotted a tunnel and swooped in, scanning the walls as she flew through. After a good way in she landed and started to swat away the thicker vines that blocked her path to see if she could find what she was looking for before that other pokemon could get all of them. She looked behind her shoulder and squinted her eyes at the light at the end. She did hop in first be she didnt know if this other mon was faster than her, she hoped that she won in that department. She turned her head back with determination to find everything first. She couldn’t let this other pokemon fail her mission!!

Eleuterio looked around the tomb for a few short seconds before unknowingly speeding into the tunnel the other mon took. Even though he was speeding through the dungeon, he still thought it looked super cool.

He couldn't wait to loot the absolute hell out of it.

As she heard a woosh behind her her turned her head to make eye contact with the person from before now taking the form as a fellow murkrow. She momentarily gave a friendly grin seeing as there was another murkrow but remembered that this person was trying to get what she needed before her!!! Her facial reaction swiftly turned into a competitive pout as she turned and sped down further into the small opening she make in the overgrown vines. “I’ll beatcha to it!!!!” she yelled over her shoulder as she tried to make as much space between them as she could.

Eleuterio huffed and sped after the other murkrow, "Whatever this 'it' is, I'll make sure you won't get it!"

Secretly, Eleuterio wanted to stop chasing this random person since they were struggling to keep their breath since they were flying so fast. They were having fun regardless, so they weren't gonna stop.

Besides, the two were engaged in a rivalry! And one thing about Eleuterio is that they dont back down from a rivalry.

After a minute or two high paced flying Coranne wheezed to a stop next to a wall to catch her breath. Maybeeee flying as fast as she could down a dark tunnel wasnt the besttttt decision, especially if she accidentally slammed into a root or like a wall. She sat down and started to looking around for any trace of what she was looking for. After a second or two she found a small trace!!!! She needed big chunks though but this was a start. As she saw the other winded murkrow approached she let out a little chuckle and crossed her wings. “i already found a bit of it, you’re already tooooooOooOooooo late!” instead of flying away this time she started to run down the tunnel, if her wings were tired there as always her legs!!!

Eleuterio stopped flying and looked around the area to see if there was anything left of what she was mentioning. They hopped around quickly and tilted their head. This room didn't look to special, what could she have found? He shrugged and picked up a small pebble they could use to throw. Not for the other murkrow.... well... it could be. It was in case any other Pokémon decided to dampen their fun.

Their wings were getting real tired now, so they began to run too. Eleuterio shouted at the other murkrow, "Well, I'll make sure you won't get all of it! Anyways... What's your name?"

Still running Coranne’s looked back and grinned “my name’s Coranne from the Nightbloom Rescuers team! How about yo-“ their words were were cut short when she ducked under a vine that her face got a biiit to close to. All this running was quite a workout! she could imagine how sore her legs and wings were gunna be when she got home.. but thats for future Coranne to worry about later!!!

“I’m Eleuterio. I’m Leader of Team Duality. It’s a Bounty Hunting team I run with my grandpa,” Eleuterio responded, “My grandpa’s a big ass drampa, you may have seen him around Ethovalon. Or not.”

They noticed the vine and slid under it, Eleuterio was thankful that they were following Coranne. They didn’t have to do most of the lookout for obstacles!

Coranne thought for a moment, she was pretty new to the area and really only went out at night so she wasnt sure that this Murkrow's grandpa would be out super late. "hmmm dont think so- My team partner usually sleeps for most of the day!! I finally got him to get at least 6 hours a sleep a day so I dont mind when we go out even if it's around 3 AM!" she started ramblings about a litwicks bad sleeping habits and him being quite the workacholic. Mid way through the conversation she started to walk side by side with Eleuterio completely forgetting about the space she had made to "win the race". "but yeah he's still pretty cool tho!! he can do this thing wh-" Her eyes quickly turned to the opening they had both walked into and suddenly remembered what she was here for.

She quickly jumped back seemingly startled away from Eleuterio and pointed at him with one of her wings. "WAIT YOU TRICKED ME, that- that was a good one there- your antics wont get me next time!!!" She quickly dashed deeper in the big room and immediately starting searching around for what she needed once and awhile looking back at the other pokemon.

Eleuterio was genuinely enjoying the conversation until Coranne freaked out and ran away.

"THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?" Eleuterio shouted at her as they started to sprint again, "I was just making conversation!"

Come on come on come on she could find it first!!! Her eyes lit up as she came across what she came so deep in the dungeon for in the first place!! She got out a small bag that she had brought and triumphantly filled it while she chipped off decent sized pieces. Coranne turned around with a smirk ignoring the slightly angered temperment the other Murkrow now had . "Look atttt this!!!!" She triumphantly help up a large chunk of coal above her head in a "ta-da!!!" type of fashion. She had won the competition and gotten all the coal she needed!!! Callum had been needing some for like plants or something she wasnt quite sure.. all she knew is that she completed her mission!!!

She walked over to Eleuterio and handed him a chunk of coal as well all in good sport. She now realized that the layer of coal in the wall of this section of the dungeon my not be possible to take home, at least not all at once. She turned her head over at the other "huh guess there's plenty enough here for both of us!" She let out a little chuckle as she looked to the wall standing next to Eleuterio.

When Eleuterio slowed down enough for Coranne to give them the coal, they were extremely confused. "This is what you were looking for?" they asked with wide eyes, "Coal?"

Eleuterio was relieved that Coranne wasn't competition for the potential goodies that could be in the tomb, but was extremely confused on why she assumed they wanted the coal in the tomb.

Coranne looked to the other murkrow confused “you… weren’t here for coal too?” She crouched down into a ball embarrassed as she covered her beak with her wings. Of course they weren’t here for coal idiot!!!! what were you thinking?? She stood up and cleared her throat as she pretended she didnt just completely make a fool out of herself and turned to Eleuterio “ANYwaysssss you here for anything specific? i got what i need!” She glanced back from where they came from to try and figure out how long it would take to get out of here. “hopefully we can get out without a problem-“

"I wasn't really looking for anything in particular, I was just hoping to find something nice," Eleuterio shrugged, "I don't care either way, the experience was fun enough. Besides, some Pokémon may want to fight us, and I'm always up for kicking someone's ass."

"hmmm something nice something nice.." she tapped the tip of her beak with one of their feathers at they looked around the cave if they could find at least somethinggg around. After a bit a small grin grew on her face as she leaned her head in the other Murkrows direction "ya know maybe the nice thing was the friends you made along the wayyyyyy~" She motioned to the "sky" of the cave and promptly after let out a hardy chuckle and gave a playful hit on the back to Eleuterio "nahh im just messin with ya, we can probably find something!"

Eleuterio stiffened when they were patted on the back, "Eh.. It's not that deep. I can always come back another time. Thank you for the offer though, Coranne."

They stretched out their wings with a huff as they looked over at the other murkrow, "Besides, I got a grampa I gotta check up on. We can fly back home together to Ethovalon if you want, though."

“sure!!! if you dont mine me around!” She smiled at Eleuterio as the two of them started to walk out of the dungeon and the two of them flew back home. Just before splitting ways Coranne jotted down her team base address and handed it over to Eleuterio now in human form. “here! if ya ever wanna swing by sometime and go in a dungeon again feel free to bug us! You can bring your gramps along for the ride too!” She waved goodbye with one of her wings as she ran down a path in the opposite direction.
