Everyone is born equal, the only thing that matters in life whether you stay equal to others or not, is how well you pursue your own true potential. Power, beauty, brains, none of those matter when it comes to your value - only living up to your true potential does. An ant is worth as much as a God, given both pursue their full potential, and as such an ant can be worth much more than a God if the God does not pursue their true potential but the ant does. Your own personal wants and needs do not matter in this pursuit either. While your wants can play a part in it, your true potential consists mainly of your inherent strength and skills. If you are incredible at running long distances but horrible at math, then no matter how much you wish to become a mathematician it will not fulfill your true potential for all the work that went into becoming a decent mathematician could have excelled you into a truly exceptional marathon runner instead. All that being said, another important factor of a person's true potential is the opportunities they've had throughout their life. If there barely was a way for them to reach their true potential and instead were forced to pursue something else, then they achieved their true potential to the best of their abilities still if they aimed to become the best they could be given those circumstances.
Everyone needs to live up to this true potential as much as they possibly can, and the more you do, the more you are worth. Especially ??? angels have a form of sense to determine how much a creature lives up to this in both inherent skills as well as life circumstances, enabling them to "judge" others in these means. The less a creature lives up to their true potential the less they are worth, and should someone outright cast their true potential away in favor of something else then they are considered the lowest of the low. These creatures are often banned from the capital as they are not to taint the place with their presence.

Fhiihv is governed by a meritocratic system underlaid an absolute monarchy. Every decision is made by relevant professionals or other people with relevant knowledge or skill, and thus this group changes between every decision. However, in the very end the versai Hiihfwenn has the final say in every decision and can nullify any and all votes in favor of her own decision if she so desires. This power has barely ever been taken into use by the versai however, and thus the society is commonly regarded entirely as a meritocracy.

1 Cloudland is a biome that is, you guessed it, located in the clouds. Completely detached from solid ground or sea, cloudland is forever floating above it instead. Consisting of mostly firm clouds which can be walked upon, it exhibits a unique type of flora that can survive on the direct sunlight from the sky and the moisture found in the solid clouds. Its fauna is usually winged or otherwise able to fly.
2 Magic in Krakrasien is divided up into five main categories; Celestial, Chaotic, Holy, Unholy, and Natural (A sixth artificial category exists which is not commonly counted; Arcane).
These five main categories are naturally occurring across the entire world but will be stronger in some places than others. While all five categories are always present even if very faintly so, one or two categories will always be strongly present and able to be drawn energy from. It is extremely rare for one category to be entirely missing, and even more rare for all five to be strongly present or entirely gone. Magical power can only be drawn from categories that are strongly present for the vast majority, and so these are the magic categories listed in the Naturally Occurring Magic section.
