The wide halls dwindled in students, but the few that still lurked the hall made no effort to be quiet anymore. The noises of their rowdy ways echoed through the halls, calls after one another of heading out or taunts that would more then likely lead to some after school chases and games before fully abandoning the grounds for the day. Their noises were thankfully muffled for those who stayed, the doors closed and keeping a majority of the noise out. Soon all students and teachers should be leading, as the sun started to set. The last of the sunlight was seeping through the open windows, casting long shadows on those who were staying. Some would stay until deep into the night, but most would abandon the likes of the building before then.

Sitting in one of the classrooms, empty aside from themselves, were a pair of males. Not one of the younger students but also not one of the seniors, they were in that middle group of having found their ways but still figuring out what may become of them once they hit their older years. The most favorite of years for some, and depressing for others. Neither were worried about that sort of thing though, focused on their day to day life as far as they thought ahead.

The taller of them, Kaoyan, was busy studying. His usually tied up hair was let down, a hair tie on his wrist as he was looking at one of the pages close to him. His area was covered in classwork, books and papers laid across one of the larger tables usually meant for group work. He has no peace when at home, leaving him to seek solace in school time to finish what he needed and find his own time. If it wasn’t studying or staying after to learn more and sate his curiosity, it was usually after school activities that took away his time. Many called him a nerd for his ways, which he couldn’t say were wrong, but their bitter words always bothered him.

Recently, he felt more guilty taking up his own time. Sure he had his flings with classmates, tasted the world and experimented, went to parties and get togethers when invited, got great grades, and had an active social life in his family (if he wanted it or not). He was an average teenager by all accounts, full of his own sins that were all too common in the hellish lands he called home. Something, or more so someone, weighed more on his mind. Writing down the last of the essay as he heard a soft hiss, it seemed that someone (or part of them) demanded some attention.

“One moment, I’m almost done.” Getting another soft hiss, tired in tone, Kaoyan wondered the whys behind it. His darling was ever so patient for him, even if sometimes he thought himself ans undeserving of it. He was far from perfect, but was given only a sweet (if also rowdy) male of his own that never saw a flaw in that. He had recently befriended and drew the attention or a feral and their cousin, an inseparable pair that always got together even when at their differences. From a well off family similar to his own, he recalled a few play dates when they were much younger and lacked many more brain cells and cares. Blanc was his name, a blond haired feral who started wanting to spend more time with him, and be more a part of his life. A trouble maker if he said so himself, but one he thought cute and so no harm in entertaining their desires. As time went on, it was obvious Blanc was the one that was truly curious of him, while his cousin merely tagged along. Something that didn’t last long as they told him to enjoy their ‘time together, no mater how gay’.

Setting the pen down as he placed the last period, it was a relief to be done. He wished he hadn't taken more advanced courses, many book reports needed to be done in such short periods of time. Letting reality flood back into his bright blue eyes with different pupils, the cutest sight he could ever lay his eyes on was before him. Blanc, already as cute as could be in his eyes, had found a way to extend his levels far beyond. Curled up in a chair, resting his head on a desk, he was doing his best to curl up in the small space. The dying light from the window directly warmed him, leaving the feral male purring as his tail swayed and hissed again.

“Why are you hissing, you should be sleeping too.” Being quiet to get up, he reached down to stroke the snake-like tail as he leaned down to give Blanc’s face a smooch. The purring stopped as he readjusted, trying to curl up once more so Kaoyan would be left to his studious ways.

“Blanc, darling, are you tired?”

“Mmmmmm, a little.” The sleepy answer came back, face gently hid in his arms and mass of hair as his eyes stayed close.

“Did you want to go home? I can finish school later. We could go find Ryosuke.” Watching as Blanc tried to stay in his tired state, he was doing well enough as no response came for a moment.

“No, no. Ryo is flirting with Mr Karma. Loves library so, says Karma so pretty.”

“That’s quite gay of him.”
“Yeaaaaaaaah.” Blanc purred, his long ears moving but eventually seemed to be on alert as his partner laughed. So very cute, so much so as he dozed and talked so sweetly.

“Come on, let’s go swing by the library and take them both. There is a new popular place for all the students close by. I hear it’s quite lovely for any romantic dates.” Giving Blanc a eyebrow wiggle, the waking male stared for a moment but eventually those pupils going wide as he scrambled to his feet.

Oh so very cute.
